What can I say can't beet Nandos's when away from home. You can go wrong. Excellent service quality always up to standard great customer service. Will be back before we leave back to Manchester ����

We came here tonight (sat 2nd Dec) and it was on point. I mean it was the best Nandos I have ever had and we have been to the ones all over Edinburgh, Livingston and even St.Andrews! Tonight tops it all!! Chefs done a fantastic job of my mash and my whole meal and my partners!! Usually I have to pick out some hard lumpy overcooked bit of tatties but not tonight!! Everything was cooked to perfection even the hot pitta with the humous!! Good job Straiton Nandos your top notch! #nandosforlife #nomnom #getinmabelly

Seated straight away , friendly staff members , food was excellent... everything that I expected

Just back from here we won a competition for a 3 course meal , met on arrival by Ross the manager who was very pleasant and welcoming , we were advised what we would be having which was any starter from menu we chose houmous with pitta bread and red pepper dip with pitta bread both were very nice , we then had a full platter of spatchcock chicken with fresh lemon 4 sides which were sweet potato wedges , corn on the cob with a spicy butter I never had any my other half had it and thought was delicious, mixed grains with a dressing I thought was lovely other half wasn't keen , coleslaw was nice enough was followed by chilli chocolate brownie with ice cream and that was delicious had a lovely after heat , all in all a lovely meal platter well worth the price of £24.95 would defo go back

I'd never been before didn't know what to expect.. being on a diet i wasnt sure how healthy it would be for me... but the chicken, rice and baked sweet potato wedges were amazing with a small dip and some mixed toasted seeds.. I was full and had done no damage whn i left!...

Staff were very friendly and helpful!

One wee thing... for a share platter of 2.. it would have been nice to have had a double portion of dip and roasted seed. All in all was excellent value for money! Thank you!

I am regular visitor to Nando's but took my mum for the first time today. I recommended 'mango and lime' spice for her but when the food arrived it was too spicy for her tastebuds. I went up to the counter to ask if I could buy some peri-mayo and I explained to Ross who was behind the counter that my mum was struggling with the spice. He was really helpful a told me he'd bring some coriander yogurt over to our table. He came straight over with the yougurt and even offered to get my mum a fresh burger with less spice. This really was above and beyond as the food was delicious.... the problem had only arisen because I'd recommend something too spicy for her. She didn't take up the offer of a new burger but the yougurt meant she could enjoy the rest of her meal. We were both taken a back at how helpful and friendly he was especially as it was OUR mistake and not the resteraunts. I would return to Nando's Straiton for this reason alone... great service!

Had our meal earlier today after Christmas shopping and it was fab as always. I left, got home and realised I have left my purse with a substantial amount of money in it, what a worry. Contacted Nando’s and they had found and looked after my purse, it was returned to me with all the contents. � Thanks so much to everyone who’s working there today, hope you have a good Christmas x

Brilliant, welcoming service from the excellent Katt Dandy and the food , .... well what can I say , chicken livers so succulent they melt in your mouth . Where else would you get such delicious fast food

My daughter has a very severe gluten allergy and having checked out the nandos website, decided to brave it as we find that eating out these days can be a nightmare due to cross contamination issues. However, the website is true to word. The manager acted accordingly re allergy and I could visibly see the precautions taken. Well done staff at Straiton as its very worrying eating out sometimes

Went here tonight for my sons birthday dissapointed as we felt his night had been spoilt. Waited forty minutes for meal to arrive then when the meal did come it was disappointing the portion for the platter meal was really small and still left hungry. My son was fed up waiting

Soggy bottom of the chicken burger roll, chips very bland, the corn on the cob was nice though.



The kids loved it.



Would rather have had a pizza express but unfortunately it was either Nando's or Frankie and bennies.



Will probably not return to Nando's.

The restaurant environment is clean and tidy, however this was my first visit to Nando’s and I found the food disappointing. I had a butterfly chicken which was extremely dry and the mild sauce, uninspiring. The sweet corn side was perfectly cooked!

I love Nando's. Staff are always helpful and polite. I do feel that the very hot isn't as hot as it use to be.

I did have to mention to staff yesterday your disabled toilet that had the baby change facilities I needed was disgusting. We arrived at 12.20 but it's like it hasn't been cleaned from the night before as what had been left in the toilet was stuck to the toilet bowl and had been lingering for a while as the smell was dreadful. Not what you want when your just about to have food. Your staff apologised and starting laughing about it with each other but I didn't see anyone heading that way to clean it.

It also doesn't lock as the handle doesn't stay up so if someone else was using a radar key like I had they would have been able to enter.

I couldn't have changed my daughter anywhere else as that's your only facilities

Very slow service - well below normal Nando's standards. Food was good, in addition to a 45 minute wait, there was a gap of almost 15 minutes between the first person in out group of 7 being served and the last. A complete lack of organization.

My daughters took me up for a mothers day lunch ordered the steak ... None left this was At 1pm they opened at 11.30 so ordered butterfly chicken in a bun with chips and coleslaw, got the butterfly chicken but with garlic bread. Get your act Nandos or I won't be if a dish is proving popular simple solution order more .

Been to this Nando’s a few times before and have enjoyed it, however when we were there last night 15/03/18 the food was not very good - garlic bread and rice over done, rolls undercooked very doughy, peri chips only half seasoned - two of us have had diarrhoea and stomach crap all day today

Worst meal ever at this nandos evertime we go there is never any steak left and today being mothers day when it opened at 11.30 u would think by 1pm they would still have steak but no ran out again ice machine not working and to top it all off the orders were completely wrong as they were to busy trying to serve the next customer defo won't be back at this one !

Really disappointed , food was rank I had the £20 platter , two dry as hell chicken thighs ,1 bit of black cardboard chicken and some soggy chips , worst meal I have ever had , and I can't even be bothered to explain how terrible the rest was , will never return , so glad I got my emergency service discount as would of hated to pay full price for this over rated over priced crap !!!

Had burgers my wife asked for extra hot. not. the chips very bland. staff very nice. at least it has something going for it.first time at this one ,don't think we will be back. dissapointed
