Choking hazards part 2! Okay all, I thought I would get every further into the nitty-gritty of choking. Again, anything I can to help! So here is a list of the most common foods which have a high choking hazard before the age of 1 ❤
-Hard-boiled sweets, whole nuts and popcorn -Seeds as they can get caught in a child's airway and cause infection... - Chewing gum -Marshmallows -Jelly candy -Raisins -Hotdogs -uncut berries and cherries -Fish with bones -String cheese -Sausages and meat sticks -Whole grapes, Cherry Tomatoes and Melon balls (cut these into quarters before serving) -Large bits of Meat and cheese (either shred or cut into very small pieces)

I'm super sad after hearing the news that a little one had died after choking at an Edinburgh Nursery here in Scotland. Although I say this post with no judgement and an abundance of love for all those who were involved. I can't imagine the sadness they are all experiencing! Although we'll never know exactly what happened I think it's the best thing to learn as much about choking as possible. Even from weaning! So today, I share with you what foods can cause a much higher c...hoking hazard when weaning your little one. Who knows, if we can stop another event like this happening in the world, then I'm ready to share this post like a madwoman!
1- Honey 🐝 Under the age of 1, baby can get Infant Botulism which can be a fatal illness. 2- Sugar 🍭 Babys don't need sugar in their diets, including fruit juices too! 3- Whole nuts ✖ You can give ground nuts and Peanut butter from 6 months, yet whole nuts cause little ones to choke! 4- Cheese made from Unpasteurised Milk 🧀 This type of cheese can cause Listeria in babes. Babies can eat full-fat cheese from 6 months old. 5- Raw and lightly cooked eggs 🍳 Many people wait until their child is 1 year old as 2% of kiddos are allergic to eggs.
Extra tip- Try to avoid buying lots of slippery foods as this could provoke choking

How are you feeling? Having energy around kids is always hard and the reality is that our bodies and minds can't always be on the ball! I work with real parents every day and we combine our working relationship to get the best results for their kiddos. So without further ado here are my 5 tips that work! ⭐
1- Eat lunch and eat well. You are important! Never forget about yourself.🍱
... 2- Say no! We all want to be damn good parents and this also includes showing your kiddos that your health matters too! You have every right to step back and lower your expectations on yourself as a parent while still being there for your little ones. ✖
3- Find some of the exercises and stick to it! Getting out and socialising is brilliant for Mothers, it's also so good for your energy level and mental health! 🏀
4- Guzzle water like there is no tomorrow 💦
5- Be kind to you! No parent is perfect and it's impossible to be! When you feel low on energy listen to your body and let it show you what it needs!❤
I hope some of these points help you! Do you have any key ideas to share with me? 🗨

Children do not know the rules for life. They are waiting to be shown how to act.
"You don't protect your children, in fact you do the opposite. You expose them to the world as much as you possibly can and you make them strong. That's the best antidote to their vulnerability".
Have you ever noticed when your child falls, there is a tiny little silence in which they wait for which reaction you are going to present?
... They may look up to you and wait for a cue of emotions or language. Many of us react before we know whether or not children are genuinely in pain.
"Oh no! This is terrible"!! We will say before they cry and then of course they will cry because we just taught the child how to react.
To make resilient, strong, brave, robust and of course loving children, we must teach them that sometimes we shake off the dirt on our hands and a lovely day continues.
" There are dragons but if you are careful you can learn how to deal with them and we will help".
⭐ Extra points for quote guessing! ⭐

Guest posting is done best when you stay humble yet aren't afraid to show off to bigger audiences. Yet I see many Bloggers making the same mistakes! When these Bloggers think of guest Blogging, they immediately think of wildly successful writers who will be able to provide them with all this free traffic. Traffic which has taken a successful blogger years and years to build. [ 2,029 more words ] http://nannymaryanne.com/…/the-ultimate -guide-to-guest-blo…/

These tiny terrors called children, if you have heard of them, can leave you at the end of the day, quite frankly looking and smelling like someone had beaten you up.
So I guess it won’t come as much of a surprise to you that when I’m with my Nanny kids I often leave covered in odd crumbs and sticky bits stuffed in weird places. Funnily enough, it’s always the places I don’t quite notice that it’s almost like these tiny terrors planned my embarrassment on the train ride home...!
Anyway, steering away from this undoubtedly sexy picture I’m painting of myself this is a post I am really looking forward to sharing with you!!

❤With sleep, timing is everything. The more your little one naps, the more you'll be able to pint point when she is ready to go down.
💣 Trying to have her nap too early can be a neverending struggle. Too late and little one will be over tired.
👏 The window for napping is probably bigger that it sound here! Here are so fan tips to know when your little one is ready!
... 👀 Look out for classic signs like rubbing her eyes, red/ tired looking eyes and rubbing her eyes on your shoulder or with her hands.
😭 Often cranky behaviours with emotions flying all over the place are a sign of tiredness and not naughty behaviour.
🤗 When little one is over tired and hard to cool down more often than not all they need is a big cuddle and some soothing words. Anything disciplinary at this stage will just make their emotion worse.
👁 When putting little one down, don't use eye contact for too long as this will be a stimulant. Look away after a bit and you'll notice baby's eyes will close naturally.
💤 And finally, running your hand from their forehead down to her nose and using the same motion at the side are great to relax your baby and encourage her eyes to close.
And there you have it! Have these worked for you? Do you have any tips for me?

💞Today I would love to share with you a few tips from my blog post to feeling body confident even with children!
1- I do not compare myself to others. Other women are beautiful and I am too. We are all uniquely beautiful in different ways.
2-I surround myself with positive people. Anyone who is unkind to me or that I just get a strong gut feeling from that they aren't what I need in my life then they will have 0% of my time.
... 3-I do a little make-up, hair styling and wear something nice to work. This is all part of me feeling body confident.
4-I pat myself on the back for hitting goals and creating new ones. I think about times where life wasn't as easy and how I got to where I am now. I also think about all the big goals I want to scale in the future and somehow I feel a little taller.
5-When I am Blogging (Such as now) I pop on a lovely incense stick. It gives my office a clam, vibrant energy.
6-I exercise. Whether it's walking, swimming or weightlifting I enjoy this as it makes me feel more attractive instantly!
7-I praise my body. No, it's not perfect and I am not even sure what perfection is! I have never put my shape down. I like being a curvy, big boobed Nanny and I wish all woman felt this way no matter their shape.
If you liked those little secrets please do pop over and give the full post some love! Happy weekend beautiful Ladies! 😘

So it looks like this post would be super helpful for royalty too! https://nannymaryanne.com/…/05/16/7-tip s-to-keep-a-good-na…/
After reading through recent news, it looks like even Royalty are a little muddled on how to keep a lovely Nanny!
It's funny as we wouldn't expect this at all! But i guess no matter what your background is, we all need a little bit of help to find our balance in childcare!... https://www.express.co.uk/…/meghan-mark le-news-latest-baby-…
