What a pleasure to visit. From the 1930s art deco design of the exterior to the beautifully appointed interior, the baby grand piano on the low stage, to the fantastic service of the helpful service and finally the gorgeous ice-cream sundaes. All I want to say is thank you Nardinis thank you. You took me back to a time when eating was a pleasure, something to be enjoyed not rushed. I'll be back.

Very non attentive staff. Had to wait for 30 mins for someone to come and take order (Actually i had to call one staff and requesting her to take the order). Same while paying bill. Ice cream was amazing but customer service should improve a lot

Still the ultimate ice cream parlour experience and the must-have centrepiece of any day out within 50 miles. It was crowded with people eating very British meals (which seems like looking for a bumper car ride at a ski resort but never mind.) Service was slick and the art deco features inside and out alone are worth a visit

Great place to visit. The ice-cream and the food are delightful and this is only made better by the gorgeous scenic route that you take to get to the place. My ideal place to go on a hot summer day.

Went to cafe for ice cream in the afternoon. Fabulous! Then because of rain stayed nearby and had dinner in the Italian! Ate from the early menu and found it to be great value with generous portions. Really impressed.

WOULDNT EVEN GIVE 1 STAR..!!!. We were travelling with a mini bus of elderly from a day centre we were not aloud to make a booking over the phone and being quoted 2 different prices first of all £7.50 & then £9.50 for Fish, chips bread & tea followed by an ice cream. On arrival we were given the £9.50 deal again only to be told after the main meal we could no longer have the ice cream with the deal. Nobody was willing to take responsibility for the 2 quotes over the phone or the quote when we arrived.... Neil the General Manger was very arrogant & unhelpful. Realistically what is the price of a couple of cone compared to a bad review.... POOR SHOW NARDINI's...!!!!

This is a great location on the seafront at Largs and it comes with a reputation developed by the Nardini family over the years. The food certainly lives up to that reputation and the service for the most part does too. We enjoyed Sunday lunch here in a group of five, including a two year old confirming they cater for families. This was my first visit here but I will return based on this experience.

Fast food restaurant. First of all, when we ordered, we did not understand what the the staff was saying. My husband ordered salmon and out of all sides that the waitress suggested we understood only one. We asked her to repeat, but again we did not understand her. Then they brought me minestrone, which took them some time to serve and it was OK. Not the best, but OK. Then they brought salmon with a baguette! Which is basically a sandwich for £8 and chips on the side. This is not what we wanted! if we wanted a sandwich, we would have gone to tesco and bought it. Restaurant is supposed to serve you normal food, not fast food with chips. Salmon was not even cooked. Then we asked for water and it took them ages to bring us water. We also wanted to order dessert, but were so disappointed, that decided to leave. Do not recommend.

Really loved it here! We did have to queue a little to get in, but the fish and chips and scampi were lovely! Salad is pushing it for the side - really just lettuce. But desserts were incredible! Absolutely amazing place.
