Interesting day out, plenty to keep the older kids busy. Indoor displays (including the amazing Concorde) are excellent, but the outdoor static aircraft (Vulcan and Comet especially) look tired and in need of cosmetic restoration.
Overall a worthy place to see. Recommended.

Great place, Concorde is truly breathtaking but all of the aircraft are superb...the fact you can get right up close to them all, or on board, is great. Plus the interactive stuff is lots of fun. You need at least 3-4 hours to do it justice, and we ran out of time. But we'll worth the money.

Great museum for kids and aviation enthusiasts. Exhibits are placed in original hangers and externally the museum looks like what it originally was, a disused airfield. There is a good mix of real aircraft that can be boarded, interactive educational resources , movies and informative displays. The Concorde exhibit is well presented and the aircraft has been very well preserved. The BAC 1-11, Comet and Vulcan have suffered the effects of weathering but it was interesting to walk the corridor of the comet and see the back to back seats. There is a cafe and standard museum gift shop with quite high prices. All in all, a great day out.

Great day out, loads of fascinating exhibits. Concorde experience is worth the entry price alone. Cafe has excellent range of food and drink available. Especially recommend the soup!

Fantastic museum! We had 3 generations in our group from 3 years old to 75 years old and we all enjoyed our visit.
A huge variety of exhibits with excellent information via touch screens gives you the opportunity to learn as much or as little as you like about each plane. There are plenty of short films on different screens that give just the right amount of information. And the interactive exhibits are fantastic, ee could have spent all day in this building alone!
The cafe is clean with a good choice of food (including gluten free) and the food prices are average for museums.
All the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the exhibits. They all seem to enjoy their work and this only makes for a better experience.

If you're into planes you won't be disappointed. Military aircraft (including Vulcan Bomber), recreational hanger, and of course Concord is worth the entrance fee alone. Loads of things to keep kids (and adult kids) interested apart from the planes themselves. Highly recommended!

Great place, lots to see. Excellent selection of planes through the ages and the interactive section is good for the kids to show the dynamics of flight. If it's a nice day it's good to walk about the whole area , can easily spend a good few hours here exploring.

Must see the Concorde & all the other planes. Great weekend destination with kids too.
Accessable by car and public. With public transportation leave early and prepare of delays. From Edinburgh it can take up to 3 hrs.

Great new hanger displays. Concorde is superb to see up close and inside. Interactive zone really good for all ages.
