Very happy with my unplanned visit. Got a slow leak while travelling to Edinburgh. Called first thing Monday and I was only waiting 20 minutes to get it looked at. Had to order in a special tyre which came around lunch time. They even gave me all the bus details to get into and out of town, plus broke my note for exact change for the bus. To be honest the best service I have ever had at a mechanics. They were very professional to all the other customers who came in while I was waiting.

I am a new driver and found that i had a flat tyre last night. Did some online research and decided to go to this branch today. I was told that two other tyres need to be changed as well. I decided to go for premium tyres recommended. The garage doesnt have Michelin tyres used by the car. The mechanic told me to use Dunlop which costs £89 each and in total £267. He assured me it's OK to use different brands and said Dunlop was better. I was asking the mechanic how much cheaper if I bought the tyres online and he just mumbled something. When i got home, i checked National's website and saw that if booked online the total costs would be £164. So £103 cheaper. I feel like I am being cheated when I am in distress.I suspect that to get it done on the day will be slighly more expensive, but never thought that difference was huge! Customers deserve price transparency when buying online and offline. Surely the ombudsmen should do something about it. I know this is not the mechanic's fault but the company's policy really sucks. I'm not sure whether this is the practice of all garages who sell products online and offline.

I've only ever had great service at this branch including today when i had my mot carried out. Not sure why there are so many dissatisfied customer reviews and thought it important to balance things up a bit by recording my total satisfaction with the service provided - and that's over many years. martin has been particularly helpful and i wouldn't really go anywhere else now.

In our lunch break, my colleague and I came here to get my front tyres checked. I can see that they are busy. There are three mechanics working. One older gentleman and two younger gentlemen. They are all working very fast, efficient and effectively. We are all very happy with their high quality and professional service. We are very grateful for their hard work. Highly recommend!

I really do not understand what is this :"we change only new tires and our"? It seems to me that they have little desire to work. Really to be avoided.

Totally agree with previous reviews, they are waste of space, please shut this branch, same poor quality service in garage next door and that kwick fit at carricknowe. Full service and oil leaking all over my driveway.

Its 10:31 on subday morning and this branch is still not opened, wasted 30 mins hoping it will open soon...

I put my daughters car in to get new front brake pads and discs they fited cheap rubbish parts, brakes were squeeling like anything took it back and they are still squeeling took it elsewere and they fixed it no problem by putting copper grease on the badk of the pads and they told me that the parts fitted were cheap rubbish. Avoid go elsewhere
