Home of The Nautilus drumming and recording studio. One-to-one drumming tutorial and artist recording facilities in both the studio and around the Greater Glasgow area equipping the beginner to advanced gigging drummer and recording artists.

Teaching and recording one hour sessions catering for the beginner through to advanced level whether its for the budding hobbyist, graded student or recording and performing artist.

The founding Nautilus drummer Neil MacDougall has been drumming professionally for 18 years recording, performing live up to 7 days a week, and able to travel to anyone who has a willingness to learn and a drum-kit to hit. Now after building the recording studio called the Nautilus, he has been recording solo artists, musicians, students and encouraging anyone looking to lay down some vocals, performances or entire songs.

The basis of his teaching is that anyone can learn to play, perform, record and everyone has their own unique style. He looks to draw this out using his wealth of experience and his enthusiasm for encouraging others to be the best that they can be in the art of drumming and their own chosen instrument.

We also offer various recording packages within the Nautilus Studio, from recording artist experiences to album demo recordings and everything in between.

And lastly, an accomplished composer Neil can arrange /compose pieces for a variety of mediums, including but not limited to film, animation and advertments.
