Shocks Scottish Dog of the Year Final run, shame about my emphasised "go" off the seesaw/him having cloth ears at jump 18 as definitely gave his right cue "this" ๐Ÿ˜ˆ shame as reckon this run would've qualified him for Crufts ๐Ÿ˜ฎ Never mind he did some super, super work in this run, still ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ him!

What a way to retire, Mooie McLean - my heart & soul, my dog in a million - wins the medium Scottish Agility Dog of the Year 2017. A few weekends ago now! Was an emotional one for me, for those who don't know already Mooie was diagnosed with a neurological condition that causes the immune system to attack her joints, early on in the 2017 Agility season. Probably caused by either the tumour itself or the removal of it. Adrenaline makes the condition worse ๐Ÿ˜ฉ so there was no dec...ision to be made, for all intents & purposes she has been retired for most of the season but as she'd qualified for the Olympia semis & the SDOTY final I decided, with agreement from her physio, to run those finals if she was doing well in the weeks running up to those shows. She showed the young uns how it's done, hardly run her this season, no training & she pulls that run out the bag! Sorry to all those I made cry with me ๐Ÿ˜ฌ This little dog owes me nothing & has given me everything I dreamed of & more, Agility Champion at 4 year old, Crufts championship runner up, Scottish Dog of the Year winner, Crufts, Olympia, Highland finalist, represented Great Britain 3 years on the trot, represented Scotland at the first WAO's....you get the pic! Must be the Kronch rocket fuel! Huge thanks to everyone who has helped us on our journey, Donna Cain, Margaret Jennings, Tom Middlemas, Dianne Talbot, Ana Marques, Graham Tweed, Tina Foggy Tweed Here's to a long retirement Mooie ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ€

We're just starting our journey with two pups - boisterous, lively and noisy! Heather was fantastic! Down to earth, highly knowledgeable, patient, and full of tips and tricks! She's given us the confidence to take our dogs beyond their basic training and improve their behaviour and obedience further. Why didn't we call you sooner!!

User

Thank you so so much for an awesome training session. You have made a huge difference in my confidence not only in Blades ability but my own as well, now to do my homework and go from strength to strength. So excited to see where our agility journey can go ๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝ

User

Thank you so much Heather, Daisy and I really enjoyed our first agility class.

User

Thank you Heather for all your help today. We have struggled with our weaves for a long time but have learnt such a lot, in a short space of time, about my dog and myself. Looking forward to putting everything into practise now.

User

Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the distance handling session with Heather at EDTC last Thursday. Although this was something that Paddy struggled with initially, Heather continually offered solutions so that my dog could be successful and thus rewarded for his efforts, which ensured that he kept on trying. I built the same distance sequence at home and was able to put what I had learnt into practice and I am glad to say that Paddy finally understood what was required. He is my little latent learner!

A very thought provoking session which has made me think outside the box!! Ax

Iโ€™ve only attended two classes and straight away noticed huge differences with the advice that was given. It was great as I have a 3 year old nutty dalamation who is very strong willed, we have attended other classes with other trainers but never had hands on experience with practicing recall and other tasks whilst my dog not being on the lead I felt this was the best way to train and it really has been the best!.. I canโ€™t wait to start the agility training next ๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝ

User

Heather was really helpful today with our strong willed puppy. Gave us lots of helpful advice, now to put it into action.

Can't wait to have a go at one of her agility sessions.

User

Heather tells it like it is, no doubt about that! But when she does, it makes you so much more confident about trusting your dog to do what you've trained it to do when you get into the ring. Big thumbs up!
