Went on a Groupon coupon and it was amazing. The Rose Ice Cream is to die for as a finisher. Going back for a family birthday to try full menu. Prompt, polite service with a smile and dishes fully explained. BYO Drink

This is the second time me and my husband come here and we have to say it's the best place we've eaten in. The food tastes amazing and everything is spot on- the crumbliness of the kebab makes it so unique and tastes sensational. We also ordered the quzy (lamb shank) which is the best shank we have had. Everything else about this place is spot on. The atmosphere, the set up and the service from the staff cannot be faulted. Excellent service all around. To polish it off we had tea which even my 8 year old son managed to have 3 cups of. I greatly recommend this place to anyone who loves to rekindle memories from back in the middle eat because this place is truly the best.

My husband and i took our kids and came here multiple times. They have excellent service & the food was so delicious! We all loved it. If i ever take a trip to Scotland then i am definitely coming here again!

Lovely night last night at Nawroz. Booked the Groupon offer for 4 people (£15 pp for 3 courses) and took advantage of the byob. The starters alone were truly delicious but the main meal was tremendously tasty (4 different kebabs, chicken wings, bulgar, pilaf and 4 amazing veggie accompaniments). We were almost too full for our spiced ice cream, Turkish delight and baklava...but not quite!!

Lovely meal. Service was good and food excellent.

I was on vacation to Ebnburag with my family decided o have dinner at Nawroz restaurant great Food, Service's , Staff .

We loved it and never regret our decision, We highly recommend them and defiantly Will visit them again if we went back that way , I wish if we hand one like that here in our city. Thank you all staff at Nawroz restaurant .

I have eaten here a few times now, it's relaxed with very nice staff and delicious food. Nothing comes to the table spicy unless you request that. My favourite dish is the very tender cooked lamb, so delicious. They have a vegetarian dish called Tapsi which is slow cooked aubergine, it tastes amazing and comes with rice and a big fluffy Nan bread hot from the clay oven. The food is far too cheap in my opinion and with bring your own wine/beer and no corkage charge its the best value in the south side of the city centre.

I come here at least twice a week. As a Syrian living in Edinburgh, I often feel very homesick for some Arabic food and shisha, and Nawroz does not disappoint. Their food is simply delicious - I've had the kebabs and the shawarma plenty of times and they taste like home, absolutely spot on. If I had to list a fault, I'd say the portions, but that's because I just can't have enough, the food is amazing. On top of that, I regularly smoke shisha, which is also perfect. They have a variety of different flavours, and I think I've tried nearly of them, and they're all great. The best thing however is their staff. I've never seen such happier and nicer people. They're all friendly and extremely accommodating - I've never walked in and seen any of them unhappy! Their happiness is contagious and I love it.



You should all definitely give Nawroz a try - you won't be disappointed.

Best kebabs ever, my partner is Kurdish and we come here whenever we are in Edinburgh. We often get friends to take back food if they're coming to Aberdeen. Nowhere up here in the North East does a real mahshy kebab like Nawroz!!
