Where do I start?
The food was absolutely vile! The pizza was really greasy, the dough was half cooked and there was basically no sauce on it. The chips were old and re-fried, dry and inedible. The pakora was soggy and dry and the chicken tikka burger wasn't spicy at all, had no salad on it and looked like a dogs dinner.
I called the restaurant and asked the man to come pick the food up and give me a full refund as I wasn't having that sitting on my stomach. He then went on to say that it would be of no benefit to them to take the food back and to contact hungry house for a refund. I then had to waste more time calling hungry house to be told that the restaurant should have contacted them. The next thing I know, the man I spoke to on the phone is at the door to collect the food, proceeded to open the food containers on a busy street outside my door and patronise me trying to say there was no cheese on the chips. There was no apology and no interest in the slightest to what I was saying. He then had the audacity to call hungry house back and tell them they were only offering a 30% refund as over 50% of the food had been eaten!!! That is completely offensive and for a restaurant to be making their customers out to be liars just shows exactly what they are like. I will never order from here again, the customer service and the quality of the food is disgusting!
