Yesterday for Mother's Day we decided to have an Indian meal. We phoned in our order at 5.39pm.
We ordered
Bombay aloo, chicken chat, king prawn chat, 2 redfourt chicken, chicken Rogan josh, 2 prawn rice, 3 nan & a portion of chips.
Was told the order would be 35-40 minutes.
My parents went to collect the order at 6.15 to be told it wasn't ready.
They were finally given the order at 6.50pm!!!! The price charged was £66.25!!

Due to the time we were made to wait I decided to call and make a complaint.
The young gentleman who answered the phone was polite I explained why I was calling and he asked if I would like to talk to the manager , which I did.
I explain to the manager that it really wasn't good enough that we had had to wait that length of time. I understood that they were busy but why state 35-40 minutes when this is their normal time allowance if they are so busy they should be allowing themselves more time.
The said manager was extremely rude and became quite hostile. I asked him not to talk to me in such manner and that I was simply looking for an apology as it had put a dampener on our family dinner. He was having non of what I was saying and handed the phone back to the initial young gentleman. Who apologised and asked if he could get the other guy to call back later. I asked him to call back the next day as we were going to finally get to eat out dinner.
I am absolutely appalled at the manner in which I was spoken. I am self employed and work with the public and would never have used such hostility towards anyone making a complaint.
We definitely shall not be returning. We as a family have always chosen this restaurant in the past when having a take away meal but not any more.
Thus meaning the loss of at the very least 10 customers.
People talk about bad experiences to other people so10 could lead to a lot more!
