The idea behind Nefertem came from a naturally growing interest and wish to help others. When I was 8 years old I was taught the basics of Reflexology and Massage by my Gran, a retired nurse. Even then I developed my use of pressure and learned some very basic pressure points that can help with pain and discomfort. Through working in various roles within companies over the years, it came to my attention that some employers and employees were ill-equipped to deal with stress and anxiety and aches and pains that were caused by various job roles. Stress is an ever-growing ailment and I felt I needed to do my part to help, so in 2017 I decided to go back into education and study complementary therapies, where I found my calling. Self-care is a crucial aspect of attaining our healthiest selves, especially in this fast-paced world. Nefertem is a branch of my holistic qualities of which I am proud.
