Yes, this page is not dead!! had several tech problems lately but hopefully resolved now. here is a recent photo I took while out and about with my camera. It's from Taylors Lane near Magdalen green. I will be resuming doing YouTube videos as well, in the next day or so (possibly sooner) I will be uploading a video of Mary Ann Lane which is a public graffiti area and will probably upload some photos from there here.

Hope everyone had a good Christmas! obviously not had a chance to do much due to the festive season but considering the possibility of doing more walk about videos in Dundee, especially with the video capabilities of the Sony A7iii. in the meantime enjoy this photo of Oor Wullie!

Not a lot going on right now, weather has not been the best for going out. I have uploaded the video finally of some of the exhibition pieces in the V&A. There are 2 galleries, the design gallery and the exhibition gallery which houses the Ocean Liners exhibition currently.

I'll upload the final Dundee Christmas lights night album shortly but here is a short video I made from them and the short video of the lights going on I made. Next year if I'm there again, I'll move position and get cover the lights procession as I haven't really for the last couple of years now.

Haven't posted for a while!! not much going on lately if I'm honest but was just down at #Dundee 's #ChristmasLightsNight aka the switching on of the city's Christmas decorations. This is a quick photo of the tree looking upwards. I took photos during the show they had before the switch on but will have to edit then upload them. #ItsBeginningToLookALotLikeChristmas

I've been out a couple of nights recently with my camera. To be honest I couldn't find a huge amount to take street photos last night. I think it was due to the lack of lighting. I have a few decent photos gathered which I'm going to upload to YouTube tomorrow night. I have to say though the sunset light has been quite good recently,

I went out to do some night photography on Saturday, not especially happy with many of the photos. I'm going to try another night before discussing it on YouTube. This sunset photo is from City Quay for anyone that doesn't know the area. I've found you can now walk all the way from there up to the V&A and beyond but that will be something for the video. #Sonya7iii #Photography #Dundee

I've enjoyed the previous Bucket Trail and this years Penguin Parade, no idea what the arrangements of this will be but might very well be worth paying attention to for people across #Scotland

This is a photo taken on the 15th of September, it was one of a few night time photos that I took after an SWE wrestling show. I hope to be able go down to the city centre of Dundee this weekend and take some more. I may vlog it on YouTube or just show the photos, either way night photography is something that I haven't done much of. Not sure what I'll try and get at the moment, probably just general scenes like this one but I really want to get this done.

Not to make this a really long post but even not being part of the LGBT+ community, I enjoyed photographing the march. Yes there are some colourful "characters" which some may think are slightly "exaggerated", but that was part of the fun of it! Also one of my favourites is the policeman with a LGBT+ flag attached to his cap! What am I up to? currently uploading and I'll share the link when it does, is a YouTube video where I talk about my visit to the new V&A. This is of course the new Victoria and Albert museum that has opened next to Discovery Point. I visited on Monday which was the first day it was open freely to the general public. I will probably also upload the photos as an album on this page, as well as a separate video. I am planning currently to go to the city square on Saturday to take some photos of the Dundee Pride event as it could be a good photographic opportunity!
