A Kickboxing and Family story...
Pictured here is one of my amazing students Aneisha Rendall-Welsh. This girl started with me aged 3 years old (about 10 years ago), and has been training ever since. She is now steadily preparing for her black belt, which is another journey of itself. Aneisha has another brother who also trains with us, Soul, who is doing brilliantly! But just a few weeks ago her youngest sibling, Phoenix, started Kickboxing also aged 3 (almost 4 years old). I... met Phoenix when he was a baby, and he has been on the mats playing with the other students many times. This circle of life-like event means a great deal to me and puts many things into perspective.
I always say we're a team. I often say we are a family, and this is more true. There are many more stories coming through like this, and I hope many of my students can keep leading the way and passing on the knowledge like Aneisha is doing. Lots of love for this girl and her family.

This Sundays Grading reminders for Orkney: Ninjas 11am - 11.45am Jr/Adults 12 - 1.30pm
Everyone please remember the following:... 1. Your licence books (these will follow this month with the licence renewal form if you're still new and do not have one) 2. Your full suit (club t-shirt is allowed) 3. Your belt (yes this is part of your suit) 4. Your full kit (gloves, kicks etc - all you have) 5. Can-Do attitude
If all assistants and Black Belts could arrive 10mins early that would be great :-)

Thurso Notice:
Due to travel arrangements, there WILL be an additional class on Monday 7th August. Weigh inn hotel. 5-6pm (no extra charge for extra time).
... This is very ideal for those fighting on show on August 26th, and also for those keen to improve, keep active or make up for any lost sessions recently.
I will have 1x personal training slot available on same day: 3.30-4.30 if anyone wants it.

JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS ANNOUNCEMENT - 30TH JULY
It saddens me to say that I have to cancel this event.
We simply don't have the numbers for the event to run productively. To all who had entered - I thank you, to any late entries, I simply cannot wait around for you as things need to be ordered, planned, paid and structured.
... The easter and winter events run very well so we will continue with these two every year as we have done.
Anyone who has pre-paid - please contact me for a refund.
