New Galloway Golf Club Juniors.
Encouraging young people in the region to take up golf. The club is set in the beautiful Galloway Hills an ideal place for golf (serving the Glenkens area in South West Scotland - Balmaclellan, New Galloway and St. John Town’s of Dalry). Being a 9 hole course New Galloway is perfect for young aspiring golfers to start their golfing experience. Group lessons for age 9 + are provided on Saturday mornings (weather permitting) from 10am until 11: 30am - there is no need to book just turn up! You don't have to be a member for lessons - but if you would like to become a member (there is no joining fee) for Juniors under 13 it's £28 annually. And for Juniors (over 13 & under 18 on 1st January) it's £43 annually.
Activities for junior golfers are arranged on Saturday mornings for ALL abilities. Coaching is given by specially qualified club members who are CRB Certified and occasionally a club professional. Juniors play in adult competition when they reach a certain standard. Dress - the club does not lay down stringent rules regarding the dress of golfers and request that golfers are neat and tidy, smart and casual. Please see our Junior Charter for more information -
