What a stunning capture of the Lake back in December - thanks Nick!

This Saturday we welcome Your Marquee Ltd to our grounds as we host their Spring Open Day.
Showcasing one of their brand new marquees as well as a small selection of the very best local suppliers. The marquee will be decorated in a wide a selection of products.
... Entrance is free, Booking is advised but not essential (11am – 4pm)
Parking is available in the designated hard standing car park on site and toilets are available.

Next weekend sees the first Coxwold Village Market on Saturday 30th March opening at 10am.
Coxwold Village Market, a brand-new food and craft market is has been founded by local, Katie Turner. No stranger to being a stallholder at markets herself, Katie works with her partner John from Thornton's Bakehouse & Butchers, a butchers shop dating back to 1961.
... “I’m passionate about the local community, supporting independent business and the provenance of produce. It’s this passion which has driven me to create Coxwold Village Market and to try and give back to the local community, offering shoppers something more than their closest supermarket. I really hope this market will become a focus of village life here in Coxwold”
Local celebrity Chef, Tommy Banks, of The Black Swan at Oldstead, Roots York and BBC’s Great British Menu fame is due to open the market and say a few words about his experiences with food in the local area.
The market offers a wide range of artisan, locally made goods; stallholders range from Florists, Bee Keepers, Fromagers and Card Makers to Garden Plant Growers, Butchers, Bakers, Jewellers and Wooden Craft Creators, along with everything in between.
Sophie Smith a monthly columnist in a local newspaper and resident baker from BakeHouse Barn is also set to be a regular stall holder.
Alongside the stalls and entertainment there will also be a raffle with prizes from local business owners and stallholders to raise funds for local cause,- Freddie's Fight, supporting a young boy from Ampleforth suffering with an aggressive form of childhood cancer.
