Originally from Bolton, I moved with family to New Galloway in 2007 and had never felt more at home. I was always out walking in the hills, around castles, old abandoned buildings and admiring the wildlife.

When I was 18 I moved into my first home with my partner. On the off chance we visited Canine Rescue in Dumfries and instantly fell in love with Tyson, our beautiful German Shepherd, who at the time was a big silly 6 month old pup - I couldn't wait to take him home.

It was only in 2012 that my passion for photography really took off when I took the plunge and purchased my first Canon 500d. Tyson was my beautiful model, he loved having his photo taken and was more than happy to pose for me. He is the only reason I decided to take up pet photography, I believe everyone should have a photo of their beloved pet.
