hiya just like to say thank u for a lovely meal today xxx my mum and i had moroccan salmon which was fantastic nd malteser cheese cake mmmmmm xxx my son had the plan burger and chocolate fudge cake he said it was the best he had xx merry christmas nd keep up the good work xxx staff are amazing xx

Where do I start.... 17 of us had a meal in NicollŌĆÖs last night and couldnŌĆÖt fault a thing!! Our two courses were fantastic!! Food was fresh, hot and delicious! Not one bad mark from anyone! The service from the girls was spot on anything we needed they were there we will be back! Thank you!

Went for breakfast yesterday food & service was perfect! I also had my wedding meal in here 2016 the service & food again was perfect. Never had any problems thanks x

I booked a table of 12 at quite short notice and the waitress was happy to help, not only on the night but suggesting that we pre-ordered the food via email because they had a big party in that night. Everything went smoothly and the food was great! No complaints at all. Everyone was happy, so thank you ’┐Į

5of us for my grandsons 16th birtday food was lovely service brilliant didnt wait long gave us 5 plates and lighter to light the candles 100% well done staff 5 star rating

Went for my mums birthday for lunch having my dad who is in a wheelchair with us we thought it's going to be hard but they brought us in back door which is all ramped couldn't do enough for us staff and service excellent food really good had a really good day keep the good work up guys x

Shown to a table on arrival, drinks order taken , food ordered n with us in as little as 15 minutes I ordered from the specials board ( Stornaway chicken ) mmm , my good lady had minute ’┐Į which I helped her devour mmm

Food very average, only one girl on the floor dealing with customers waiting to be seated, meals a few quid over priced for what they Were, had better food for the same money.

Sorely disappointed! No christmas spirit in the place on the evening of 23rd December! The poor guys in the band were singing to the two bar staff and my boyfriend and I! It was as if people had boycotted the place, needless to say we stayed for one drink, chatted to the singer then left!

Shocking service, the lady who served us last time was also working, its ashame we didn't get her service this time, we walked out and went to jimmy chungs instead, won't be back ’┐Į

Went for lunch yesterday had steak banquet very nice tasting after I had to put back as steak was cold ,but had no problem when I said to staff about cold steak ,they where very helpfull ,my only othere problem was a sign on table saying if it was your birthday you could eat for free ,when I asked about this I was told it had to be a table of four ,think they should make that more clearer to save embarrassment as it was my birthday but only two of us eating ,I did not no about this as I was only visiting all in alll the food and service was very good

Visited for lunch yesterday with my mum and daughter. We left 55 minutes after placing our order having had no lunch. The waitress told us our food was ŌĆ£just coming up in the liftŌĆØ four times, and that we werenŌĆÖt the only table that this had happened to today. Clearly the order had been forgotten about. The bar was busy but not as busy as it would be on a weekend and there were a lot of empty tables. We wonŌĆÖt be back.

Terrible service we received Last night! out for my partner birthday meal and when we all ordered meals my partner wasn't feeling that hungry and orderd soup. Isn't a hard thing to be served surely? We all received our meals had started eating while waiting for his soup and it never came 5-10 mins later I then went to the bar to let them know we hadn't received it and were waiting. Went back to my seat still nothing I there for had to share what I had for my meal with my partner. Absolute disgrace when I approached staff all I got was they will take the soup off the bill well that wasn't good enough he wanted the soup like he ordered and no one seemed to care will not be back! Shocking service

Shocking service, we took family out for lunch and only 1 member of our group had a starter....waited over 45 mins before making a complaint to which we were told our order was put back 10 mins because of the starter but is next up which was lies as the table behind us who came in much later than us received their food, so we waited a total of 1 hour and 15 mins before being served and we never got any refund or even an apology. WonŌĆÖt be back anytime soon!

Really no point having somebody waiting at the door when they can't even take you to a table.

Forgotten about at table so fucked off!

On arrival two waitresses were messing about outside the entrance, I expected them to follow us in but had to wait 5 minutes for one of them to return to yer duties and show us a table only to be told,"there's one behind you" .

Orders were taken for food and drinks and cutlery put in place in N a polite and pleasing manner.

The food same served hot, all of which was pretty tasteless and bkand, side of bread and butter served with fish and chips was dry and hard.

A very disappointing meal overall causing severe illness as my partner suffered a severe headache and vomiting within 1 hour lasting the rest of the day.

Needless to say we will not be returning or recommending Nicolls in the future.

On arrival two waitresses were messing about outside the entrance, I expected them to follow us in but had to wait 5 minutes for one of them to return to yer duties and show us a table only to be told,"there's one behind you" .

Orders were taken for food and drinks and cutlery put in place in N a polite and pleasing manner.

The food same served hot, all of which was pretty tasteless and bkand, side of bread and butter served with fish and chips was dry and hard.

A very disappointing meal overall causing severe illness as my partner suffered a severe headache and vomiting within 1 hour lasting the rest of the day.

Needless to say we will not be returning or recommending Nicolls in the future.
