Nido - Haymarket - Student Accommodation Edinburgh

Accommodation is nice, and staff are friendly but highly incompetent. Fail to reply to emails and has taken over 6 weeks (still awaiting) to receive refund on deposits after demanding payment in full including deposit within 3 days of initial enquiry. Good location.

Nice modern accommodation, akin to IQ. The location is perfect as most of the city center is within walking distance. The staff at Haymarket were pretty helpful and accommodating as I was allowed to stay an extra day to save me the hassle of having to find temporary accommodation for a night. There was however a slight delay in the deposit return, after contacting the head office the matter was resolved in less than 24 hours. Would recommend!

The accommodation is perfectly situated for town and the outskirts of Edinburgh. It is a 20 minute walk into town and only 5 minutes to Haymarket station for trains, buses and trams. The staff are always on hand are exceptionally helpful. When they are not working, there is a staff member on 24 hour call to assist with any issues. The accommodation is well equipped from a furniture perspective and the bathrooms and kitchens are very modern. I really enjoyed my stay here.

The staff is simply WONDERFUL. The only reason I will not be rebooking is due to the change in the listing of the rooms. The idea of bronze, silver, gold sounds good - if there was an actual difference in room sizes and what was offered in the rooms. Yet, they're rather differentiated on the level of the building the rooms are on. Sorry, I don't care to pay extra for the same room one floor up. I believe they're looking into this.
