North Ayrshire Shooting Ground

Winter Series DTL 2018-19
This has been one of the best DTL Winter Series we have had , there was good turn outs and great competition with it been very close at the final with only a few points separating the overall High Gun Douglas Brown shooting Pegoraro Elite Cartridges and Runner Up David Galloway, with Doglas winning the £500 cash prize and David picking up the £150.00 runner up prize.
We were helped again by Browning who supplied goods to the value of £150 plus for ea...ch class for the overall class winners.
With Douglas and David picking up the AA prizes that left the other class winners:-

Sunday 10th Febuary at North Ayrshire we have 100 DTL Winter Series and Team Selection, all other layouts open as normal.

First delivery today of our New Gemini Krieghoff and Blaser ported chokes, all sizes in stock, they have the new The DLC technical coating (Diamond Like Carbon) gives the choke tubes an appropriate colour and avoids annoying reflections, which could render the firearm visible. The DLC is a coating in “Amorphous Diamond” providing the... choke tube with additional hardness (2500-3000 Hv), extraordinary abrasion and wear resistance,a low frictional coefficient (smoothness and anti-adhesion) and excellent chemical inertness.

Went clay pigeon shooting today as a present for my mum's birthday. It was a unique experience as it was something she had never done before and we all thoroughly enjoyed it! Shout out to our brilliant instructor Ron Howie, showing us the ropes and ensuring a successful shooting session! Big thumbs up and we will be back for more in the near future.

Well what a time I had!!! A fantastic lesson with the most patient and informative instructor Ron. I was made to feel very welcome and will definitely return. Thank you so much for an amazing experience�

Was up yesterday for a 16th birthday bash, a must say what a great experience, to the instructor we had ron howie, u were great very good at explaining and teaching u how to us the gun and be good at the sport, you now have another 8 people hooked and we can't wait to come back, thanks very much for the introduction to the sport and thanks very much for having the patience to deal with our group we will see soon. X

Very helpful staff great shop you will not be disappointed down there for beginners and professional shooters

Took my old Beretta in with a broken screw and missing part. Tom phoned me two days later as he had the replacement already. Usual decent, knowledgeable service.

The three of us went 11 th April , hadn,t a clue about this place, And never thought get I,d ever do this, what a day!!!! Awesome, !!! The instructor Ron was amazing, one to one training and individual safety was paramount, highly recommend this for a day out stress busting at its best, yeh even for a 59 year old !

The grounds are great very addictive . Shop is well stocked an staff there are excellent

My husband was given a voucher for his birthday which he booked this week. Even although the weather was awful he had a fantastic day shooting with the very knowledgeable and friendly Ron. He enjoyed it so much he will be back and plans to join the AGC in future.

My cousins arranged a clay pigeon shot for 3 generations of the family. It was an awesome experience to find that age did not matter. All 6 were brand new at this and Ron Howie made them look like pros. It was fantastic and we all are still talking about it.

I had my Son there today for his 14th Birthday and the instructor Ron looked after us. He made the experience so enjoyable. We had an amazing time. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Had a great time with one to one instruction. Learnt loads and will be back.

Had a good day with my mate Norman first visit defo will be back ! Although defo need to improve lol cos found some of the traps difficult but only been shooting a few times! Something for everyone no matter how bad u r lol .cant wait till next time thanks .
