Today, we cleared out the last bits of Nosebag from Cambo Stables. It's been a tough week doing so and probably wouldn't have managed it without the help of our friends (previously Team Nosebag Staff) and their partners.
We just wanted to thank you, all of you, from the bottom of our hearts, for supporting us from the first day Nosebag opened its doors. The friends who came for lunch, and ended up doing dishes, the friends that then became part of Team Nosebag, the team that ...then became our lovely friends, those who came in to support us because they knew us or they lived locally, those who visited us whenever they were up in the area, our gorgeous Sunday Breakfast bacon roll gang, our wonderful florist friends, our Crafter's, all the humans who brought their beautiful four legged friends with them, the parents and grandparents who came for caffeine before getting the kids out in the fresh air, those special people who let us look after them on their birthdays, our regulars, our friends and absolutely everyone else. We, and the staff team, have loved meeting you all, chatting to you all, sharing laughs and stories, hopefully, making you all feel welcome, comfortable, looked-after and valued because we really did value every bit of that support.
As a small local independent family run business who were just starting out, you coming to us, instead of going elsewhere for your coffee and cake or lunch, meant that we were able to keep going. That meant an enormous amount to us and the Nosebag team. We couldn’t have made it work without you. And we did make it work, we know that because you’ve all been so wonderful and let us know how much you enjoyed being there, and how sad you are that it will no longer be there. It has been and continues to be extremely heartening for us to hear that.
So, thank you for your support as we built Nosebag at Cambo Stables, and thank you for your support through this awful and unnecessarily painful experience. All of your kind gestures, concerned words, support, visits, sympathy, empathy, indignation on our behalf, friendship and love, every bit of it is so, so appreciated by us both. Thank you.

With sadness and shock, we regret to inform you that we have been instructed by Cambo Heritage Trust to withdraw from café operations at Cambo Stables Visitor Centre. This was completely out of the blue and we are still coming to terms with the news ourselves.
We have informed our 7 employee’s this weekend. This news at any time of the year is shocking enough but 4 days before Christmas is devastating. As an independent local business, employer and family, ...we are trying to come to terms with the impact of this.
Thank you for your patronage over the past year+ and we hope to see you all in and around the East Neuk in due course. In the meantime, thank you again…..

Lovely visit this afternoon. Easy to park, lovely walks right down to the beach, pigs, horses, dog friendly, playpark, local produce, local crafts, home baking, activities, visitor centre....what more could you ask for?

Ace local nosh, lovely folks and whole place is totally kid and dog friendly too. Huge coffee cups big enough to cosy up to. Lush homebakes, and tasty hot scottish dishes at the weekends, awesome.
