totally wonderful, caring team. We have been with Alastair and his team for 14 years through thick and thin and cannot recommend them enough.

Whilst visiting Edinburgh in my Motorhome with my two Mini.Schauzers one of them was unfortunately involved in a collision with cyclist and suffered a badly gashed leg.I was told to take him to Oak tree vet centre who gave my dog first class attention and treatment. I was very impressed with the level of service and would like to all the staff there 5 star rating.

We've been with Oak Tree for a number of years, and for the last two years with Henrietta who, sadly is no longer there. Through her care we had almost two more years with our cat than we would otherwise have had. We had to take the heartbreaking decision to let go of the cat last week, and Andrew took us through the process. This was our first and only meeting with Andrew and he couldn't have been more compassionate or professional. The same applies to all the other staff in the practice. We can't thank or praise everyone enough for their professional, caring approach to both the animals they treat, or their owners. Luisa and Carina.

We have used this vets for probaly 10 years now and we always recieve fantastic treatment and advice regarding our wee buddies when they are not too well. Highly recommended and the staff are always welcoming too. Would recommend Mr Leitch for small furries like guineas and rabbits!

User

We have been going to Oak Tree Vet Centre for many years now - it started in the 1990's when we were living in London and visiting Edinburgh. We found them far better than the practice we were at down south and used to say that we travelled 500 miles to take our dog to the vet! When we moved back to Scotland we continued to go to the OTVC even though we stay in the Borders. Our recent experience has proved how right we were. Thanks to Alastair's prompt action he saved our dog's life by operating immediately on a perforated bowel, following up by keeping a close eye on him in the immediate aftermath. Sadly cancer was diagnosed and Jamie didn't survive despite the excellent treatment protocol that was devised. Throughout everything Alastair kept us informed of the pros and cons and was immensely supportive while the Reception and the Nursing staff couldn't have been nicer. Thank you all from us both. Annie & Peter

We don’t go here anymore as moved out of the area but I can’t rate these guys highly enough. If we could have stayed with them we would have. Alistair has so much passion and really cares about the animals and the rest of the team are wonderful. Or Boston’s were so well taken care of throughout the years and they even enjoyed visiting the vets lol.

User

Very efficient, attentive, caring and understanding.

User

Very cstind and looked after my dog Ceilidh well.

They are very kind people and they don't just care about the pets they also care about the owners.

I would like to thank Malcolm and all the nurse's at Oak Tree Vets Centre for all you did for mr jones and a beautiful card thankyou.

I was looking for a new vet as my last vet retired, I had been with him for 45 years!

The Oak Tree came highly recommend by friends and customers.

I was not disappointed. I took my neurotic spaniel to see Alistair yesterday, she is a very good (and trying) test of anyone's mettle!

I found Alistair to be welcoming, kind and very professional. He filled me with confidence in his abilities, diagnosis and judgement.

Elspeth on reception was very friendly and welcoming.

I have no hesitation in recommending the practice.

User

I took my Maltese here on very high recommendations from my neighbour after a bad experience elsewhere and I was not disappointed. Alastair was absolutely brilliant and took the time and effort to explain everything clearly and professionally to me with drawings! He also took the time to reassure me and made me feel less anxious and I knew Nicky had finally arrived in the care of someone who was really committed to my pet and what was best for him. The receptionist staff were also excellent and very friendly even though my pet was having a good barking session while we were there which I couldn’t apologise enough for. Than you so much and I cannot recommend you enough.

User

I love them!! They are all so friendly and understand how important my dog is to me

User

I highly recommend oak tree vets! We've been bringing out cats and guinea pigs here for years. The staff are amazing and our animals get top quality care.

User

I highly recommend Oak Tree Vet Clinic. Me and my fiancé recently got little kitten called Cake and after doing some research on vets in Edinburgh it was really easy for us to see Oak Tree are the best so we decided on them. We called on a Monday at 1pm and had an appointment for 4pm that very same day. Great service the moment we entered, everyone is extremely welcoming and easy to talk to, and we were even given a tour of the facilities. This was great as when you go to other vets and drop off your pet, they are taken away behind the scenes and you have no idea what it is like back there. This has set me at ease and I know she would be taken rely good care for if anything bad was to ever happen to her. Another good point is they are always trying to improve the clinic with new technologies and equipment which allows them to have fast results from tests and able to do the difficult surgeries - where as with some vets they will have to send away for test results or send you to animal hospitals for complex treatments. I am blown away with their professionalism and friendliness and Cake loves them too.

User

I can't ever thank Alister enough for how he looks after my Labrador Max. With the treatment max has just had we have a very happy boy

I would like to thank Andrew for all his care given to Billy today, your care was so appreciated

User

Had our pug puppy in for microchipping and second vaccinations today. Such a wonderful team who clearly have genuine passion and love for the animals in their care. I've definitely found Bella's vet surgery for life!

User

Had a lovely time yesterday on our first visit with little Christos. The nurses were friendly and helpful and the vet who examined Christos was really interested in his case and had a gentle way of handling him, which is very useful for a cat who has been through a lot and is not very fond of medical personnel!

User

Absolutely a dedicated veterinary centre who clearly deeply care for the welfare and need for our furry loved ones, also for us as concerned loving owners, the whole staff make us and our fur kids feel at ease and welcomed on every visit, the vets take time to examine and explain in a detail that we feel that is understood and excepted, very efficient but at the same time a relaxed practice with the most friendly dedicated staff.
