I really like this cinema. I like the fact you can get a mug of tea, if you wish, rather than fizzy drinks and the staff are always very friendly. It's never too busy and the seating is comfortable.
A large old single screen 1950's style cinema that has seen better days, Building a bit dowdy and needs modernising. Doonhamers live in hope for a multiplex cinema complex one day. Filmscreen, sound and projection is good, seats comfortable enough, staff are nice, pricing reasonable. Seems half empty a lot of the time.
Not the newest of cinema interior's, but everything fine. Clean presentable, friendly staff. Better value than the larger Odeons.
Great little cinema. It looks awful on the outside, but inside it is nice, the seats are comfortable, and the staff friendly. There's only one screen, but that makes it feel more of a community experience as everyone goes to see the same thing at the same time!
Really friendly staff, due to the hot weather we were given 2 free bottles water whilst the film was playing. Very thoughtful, great customer service.
Could do with a tidy up outside but the inside is comfy and clean
Dumfries Odeon still remains for us one of the best cinema experiences in the country. Large venue with spacious and plenty of VIP seats, easily bookable, always friendly staff, this cinema goes from strength to strength.
Cinema was very quiet and people were all sat very close together. A couple of groups moved to get more space and distance from other viewers but the lady employee inside the cinema acted like a dictator and forced everyone to be crowded around each other. Use common sense when the cinema is quiet.
Very friendly staff all the years I've been going. The projection and sound are good. Yes, maybe it's looking a little tired and frayed around the edges but the people who work there are a delight and always make me smile, and that counts for a lot in my book.
