Great children's play area.

Nice cafe, Usually has a GF option for cake (although they sometimes need prompted to remember they have it!) with GOOD wifi (fast for the island) and a truly super playpark for the kids (digger, trampoline, climbing wall, sandpit, footie pitch... ) for just a small contribution.

Dogs allowed outside, water bowl available.

The food at thyme is excellent, highly recommended

The visitor centre is a good place to visit on the west side of the island with interesting pottery shop and stylish clothes/textiles shop. We didn't go in the cafe but it looked good and there is a playground to keep the kids amused. I think it will develop more in time

A really nice place to have a strole, a drink and/or a meal. The Haggis Wrap (with the Turkish name) was really very good! Purchased a one of a kind 'rare breed rug' for our motorcycle that we were allowed to try out first without hesitation. Friendly staff all over. Love to go back there in the future.
PS: would have purchased the rather clever (glass) Teapot too. That however sprung our budget severely.
