Superb roasts dinners, served piping hot on heated plates and a super efficient, friendly waitress called Charlene who looked after us well. Rocky Road Calzone nice to finish with and main meals 2 for 1 excellent value too. We will be back very soon.

Requested a table next to the kids area so the kids could play, got it no bother. Donald was our waiter and he was fantastic!! Even the kids felt comfortable ordering from him. 5 adults and 4 children, everyone's food was delicious. Because there was an odd number of adults Donald explained we could take away a pizza as all meals were buy one get one free. He took our order for this 10 mins before we left. He explained it would heat up really well, we had it for dinner tonight and he was right, it was lovely. Will certainly be heading back for pizza soon!! Because it was my daughters birthday i asked Donald if he would stick a candle in my daughters pudding. This was no problem and they did a full announcement to the restaurant and everyone sang happy birthday!! Defo be going back ���

Popped in for lunch today and was so impressed! Lovely food..great value..nice surroundings.. and our waiter Jordan was so nice and super efficient. Mains are 2 for 1 ( and great choices) ...drinks (eg pepsi) are refillable... very enjoyable experience. Only downside was that we had no room for dessert... Looking forward to our next trip...need to work our way through these menu options!

My husband treated me to a Valentine's lunch on the 14th - first time beign in the restaurant. We were met with a friendly man called Nigel. He was very helpful, funny and genuine nice guy who cared about his customers. We had rib eye steaks which were amazing and cooked lovely- compliments to the chef- the red velvet and white chocolate was to die for and the portion was tremendous for ladies who love cake like myself lol. Will defo be back.

Mother’s Day treat. Great Food and fab service too. Fantastic variety of menu. Chocolate cake that fitted the whole plate😲😲 would defo recommend

Me and the kids decided at the last minute to go for dinner food was brilliant my boy is so fussy and he ate everything the waitress was lovely too x great value for money definitely be back x

Had a really great night here last night! The staff were all really friendly and the new manager Anne made us feel really welcome! Food was good too!

Fantastic place for lunch and catch up with my friend, food was lovely as always and not too much. Thoroughly enjoyed lunch and pudding was stuffed when we left but with the price of the bill am not complaining. Can't wait to come back xx

Stopped for a coffee after visiting B&Q, and ended up staying for lunch. Two for one on main courses is great for couples, or multiples of two, but quite expensive if dining alone. Menu choices are very good, as is the food quality. Staff are friendly and helpful. Will visit again when we are in the area.

Good friendly service .new menu and food was good . Only 3 waiters on as the others couldn't get dur to weather. Was served by Charlene who was rushed off her feet but still had time to make sure our visit was enjoyable

A table for 2 on a Saturday evening wasn’t a problem without booking but I would advise to book a table. I think we were just lucky. Service was great Charlene seen to our table. Drinks were quick. Starters of buttered chicken & popping chicken was lovely & came within 15 mins of ordering. I asked to change my main course as I never seen the chefs special board. Charlene done this prompt without a hassle. A 20oz mixed grill was alright!! There were 3 gammon steaks a sausage, lamb chop chips, onion rings & 2 eggs it was a big eat ( I thought a mixed grill was gammon chicken beef & lamb!!) 3 gammon steaks was too much the same!! My partner got pulled pork hash, he said it was alright but wouldn’t order it again. (Just personal preference) we had drinks also. 2 pints of beer, a fresh orange lemonade, a Pepsi max & a malt whisky. Came to £52 which was good. Staff are lovely just one wee thing is to point out the chefs special board, it’s not easily seen. Change the mixed grill take the 3 gammon steaks out after all it was £18.45!!

I do like come here sometimes as it’s good for children having little play inside or outside. However, I found the staff quite rude and not really much helpful, therefore I am not really happy

Why is this place even busy� came here asked for the table to be cleaned that never happened!! Standing at the bar for 20 min to be served, waited 30 mins on starters while being served these the waitress told me cutlery was inside- there was only knifes and spoons, when I told the waitress she said the next lot of forks will be coming out the dishwasher- lots of dirty forks on empty tables !!





An hour had past and kids ice creams had not been served had to go get a refund as the time we waited was shocking. You pay for a service and get nothing simple like a table wipe or some forks � and you find it difficult to complain to the stuff cause they are not their or they are just rude!!!!!!

Went for something to eat last night with the family full family ended up including the kids with food poising customer service is atrocious sat there for over half an hour before getting served then to be served with food poisoning ( doctots have confirmed ) called to speak with manager and been passed about and told that its only allegation my word against theres basically



now why hire a chef if they cant cook and why be so aggressive towards a customer telling you that your food you served has caused illness. Im not looking for a refund or free meal this is just a review everyone should read

Waited an hour for food service was awful won’t be back there in a hurry

The service in here is appalling. Seated straight away in the kids area but we have no kids so I asked to be moved and he says it’s really busy in that section if u can wait to be served....I said yes.

So we were seated then waited to give drinks order then didn’t no if we had to order at bar or table as no one came,eventually we got served asked what kind of fish it was and just a plain answer of cod.... nothing else just said cod thought this was rude so eventually we go our starters Tonys didn’t have the sauce he went and asked the manager at the bar he lifted his head looked at him then continued to use his hand held after a few moments he than ask can You get something.

Mains came mine not the hottest got ribs asked for wet wipes she said I’ll just go get them she never came back after we finished we sat for about 25 min with the same guy looking over several times definitely (management) before actually taking our plates didn’t do a check back didn’t ask if the food was ok just said do u want drinks topped up. We got up went to bar same guy and the girl who never came back with wipes standing doing separate things the girl was taking a list of drinks to fill fridges completely ignored me and I had to ask if she was going to serve me we went here when it first opened and had complained about the food that wasn’t right and then tried again but this is the 3rd time and it’s still not any better the service is well below standards

Short of staff no manners there was a twenty minute wait for a drink.

Waited years for local pub but this is my worst ever.

Not happy with the service here tonight at all,waited ages on drinks and then waited nearly an hour for food,waitress was so rude and made us feel like we should leave,also waited forever for the bill that we asked for twice!!!
