We were there on the day of the Hat Festival yesterday. Very friendly staff. The mushroom soup was delicious. The fish was really nice and the presentation excellent. We saw the chef pick fresh herbs for the meals. They all took great care to accommodate people's wishes for changing meals as they were obviously cooked individually. We certainly made the best choice of venue. We are here for a couple of weeks so will probably get a chance to go there again. Food and wine were fabulous and was enjoyed by all.

We try to come here whenever we are staying in Charmouth for a holiday as the food is always fab and the staff are lovely. We came last Thursday which was also my Fiancee's birthday and it was just as good as the other times. Absolutely superb food and great service. We were sat in the kitchen area which was great as we could talk to the Chefs and see them preparing the food. Can't wait to come back again :)

The open kitchen is a delight and there are even function rooms which we have successfully used on many an occasions.

Just had the most delicious meal at The Olive Tree; the Moroccan Prawn starter was a generous portion of king prawns in a wonderful, spicy butter. The antipasti platter was really generous. The hake and sea bass main courses were fantastic, served with interesting veggies. We shared a lemon posset with chunks of honeycomb �. Thank you for great service, too.

I can honestly say I've been coming here everytime I've been here on holiday, and The Olive Tree has NEVER failed to provide a fantastic dining experience.

The staff are attentive, very friendly, polite & corteous, and furthermore don't pester you, asking "everything ok?", just as you've put food in your mouth!

The food is absolutely delicious (every different dish you try).

I've now moved down here so will be frequenting it more often.❤️

Great fishy lunch today. Spotted the restaurant while passing and thought we'd give it a try. Result! Great fish soup with pesto croutons and hake with lemon butter sauce. Loved it and will be back.

Friendly unobtrusive service. Excellent food. Sea bass risotto or with veg. Christmas tart and winter crumble excellent choices. With starter and coffee to follow an enjoyable evening experienced for two. Highly recommended
