On The Roll Description
Our mobile grill stand ‘On The Roll’ sells freshly grilled German sausages in the city centre of Edinburgh. Our sausages are imported from Münsterland, Germany, and are complemented to your liking with a choice of our homemade curry sauce, sauerkraut or fried onions and served on a freshly baked roll.
The sausages build the main ingredient to our concept of delivering a traditional German take away dish. We offer a variety of the most commonly grilled sausages available in German city centres. These include a traditional Bratwurst, a Krakauer, a pure beef sausage and the famous Currywurst.
Throughout the year we sell our sausages on 1 George Square in Edinburgh, Monday to Friday. In addition to our regular stall, customers enjoy our sausages at one-off events such as the Beltane Fire Festival, Leith Gala, Kelburn Garden Party, Knockengorroch, Roseburn Terrace / Wester CoatesTerrace on the way to the Rugby at Murrayfield Stadium, various Christmas markets and many more.
