Fantastic oysters at happy hour - been a few times now and have been a happy chappy. Not rated a full five stars because - let's be honest, outside of their special offers, the place is massively overpriced.

Great Seafood Restaurant in convenient location, just next to the Royal Mile.
Chef Roy Brett sources the best and freshest seafood from around Scotland. Seafood is Scotland's second largest export after whisky, and from the amazing dishes in offer at Ondine, you can really appreciate why.
Chef Roy and his team are really friendly and offer great service. You really feel that they care about the guests having a great dining experience.

Delicious roasted seafood platter for two and interesting choice of cocktails - I enjoyed the Botanical Gimlet (gin and coriander!) very much. The only let down was the overpriced side dishes.

We came here on a whim and had a nice time at the oyster bar. The service was very nice and the dishes came with perfect timing. Living in Alaska I've had my share of seafood but it really was enjoyable. If you have a heavy entree it is my suggestion to end with a dessert wine as they were tasty. I recommend spending some time here.

Amazing service. Obviously it is quite pricey but great for a special occasion. The staff are really nice and you definitely are paying for quality seafood!

Service was serious but generally good, although at times a little slow. Sitting round the bar for drinks and oysters looks lovely. We had a table by the window and enjoyed oysters, fish and chips and the cooked shellfish platter. Go for the shellfish platter, a generous portion of razor clams, scallops, lobsters, mussels, cockles, clams, crab, oyster, you name it it's on there! It was absolutely delicious and well worth the money. Aside from that there are restaurants with more atmosphere, better service and a more reasonable wine list.
