About One Acchord
One Acchord is an all female a cappella chorus located in Newtown St Boswells with a current membership of around 32. We are always welcoming new members and would love you to come along! You can try us for free for 4 weeks.
One Acchord Description
We are an all female community chorus based in the Scottish Borders. Our choir sings a cappella (unaccompanied) in four part harmony and we sing all kinds of songs from traditional barbershop very close harmony to gospel to modern classics, such as Bohemian Rhapsody. We are committed to improving our singing and work hard at rehearsals and practise at home. But we are also a very friendly and sociable chorus and we have lots of fun in rehearsals and at sing outs. New members are always pleased to find out just how friendly and welcoming we are. We are committed to supporting new members in all sorts of ways - for example you will be given a buddy to help you through the first few weeks. We also do not have auditions so you will not be asked to sing in front of anyone - unless you'd like to! : ) You can try us out for free for 4 weeks to see if you'd like to join us.
