Orchard Hotel

This place is superb. I run a bar my self and if I could take a little piece of this home with me I would. Staff absolutely fantastic the food is brilliant and the rooms are clean and spacious. Will defiantly see us again. Keep up the great work.

On a road trip around Scotland from Australia. Stayed in a lot of places but this is the worst, at a high price. Pub below is ok but the room we where put in was directly next door to a KARAOKE ROOM!!! That they would even let the room out for people to sleep in baffles me. Hot water didn't work, wifi didn't work, TV had terrible reception. Room is a slum. Didn't sleep due to the noise until the early hours. Save your money and sleep in you car.

Had dinner at the Orchard Hotel, staff were very attentive but not obtrusive. Menu had lots of choices and the food was delicious. Stayed on after our fod and weren't chased from our table which was nice.

We went for a family meal. The service was good, helpful and friendly waitress and staff. Good range of dishes on offer, food arrived hot and was delicious. Easy to park. I will go again

Been going here for years now used to be a great place for drinks and food. In for a couple of drinks last night and one friend dropped his drink by accident and they flung us all out Some of the staff now really need to be trained better that's even if there trained. The manners of the so called assistant manager is appalling what a way to behave in front of fellow employees and customers. A few good customers gone for good now. Staff are 2 faced.. Acting like your friend one minute (manager has even been touchy-feely on occasions) and putting you out the next minute.

Went in for a few drinks on a work night out, drinks were reasonably priced and of good quality. Staff very friendly and had a good mix of music playing

Visited mid afternoon, service very slow, loud members of staff more interested in in talking amongst themselves, homemade seasoned burger was a lump of mince not seasoned at all. Chips good though.

The bar and food and staff are great. No problem with that. I have stayed a few times. Rooms are the problem. Caters for contractor which I have been and I don't have problem with. Mattress are poor and pillows like pancakes so rubbish sleep. If they spend a little on new bedding it would be a great improvement

Pleasant evening had, drinks where expensive, staff are fantastic and make the bar what it is. Still needs less clutter
