CALL FOR CHRISTIAN ARTISTS: Symphonic Praise 2019
We are inviting artists to submit works of painting, sculpture, photography or other media to be exhibited as part of the above event in Edinburgh and Glasgow in October. Works should be inspired by or engage with the musical works in the event (largely hymns).
Any interested artists please contact colin.peckham@originscotland.org for details of the programme and associated exhibition.

Colin is at the European Leadership Forum this week in Poland. Pray for a great time of challenge and inspiration. Lots of great chats with people about the theology of art. 😀 🇵🇱

What do you think, is this one of the best congregational song lines written in the last 50 years? “Hands that flung stars into space To cruel nails surrendered.” Graham Kendrick Or what is your favorite?

At our recent Easter Sunday event in the Usher Hall, we shared a video about a crisis facing our ministry. Here it is again, for any who missed it. https://youtu.be/iA-RGB4ZBTM Will you help? If you will, the next step is here: http://www.originscotland.org/…/Origin_ Scotland_Resurrectio…

Here’s an interesting article. We’ve always thought that the theology in the line “in all life thou livest, the true life of all” (Immortal, invisible) was open to misinterpretation - but what do you think of this selection? https://www.crosswalk.com/…/6-hymns-tha t-have-been-teaching…

Your nomination really counts. £1,000 could make a real difference to the work we do to introduce people to Jesus and to bring His people together to worship. Your nomination could be the one that helps us win. This donation could enable us to take the message of the gospel to people and places we can’t currently afford to, or it could mean more people being able to join you in worship at one of our events. Click ‘nominate now’ on the website and enter our details (Charity No... SC032754). Thanks for your support!
