Orkney Brewery Description
The Orkney Brewery is based in the former schoolhouse for Quoyloo, one mile from Skara Brae, in the heart of Neolithic Orkney.
The unrushed culture with its traditional values influences the way we make our beer. We give undivided attention to each stage of the brewing process to ensure that our beer reaches you in perfect condition. This timeless approach has helped us win many national and international awards for both our cask and bottled beers which we hope you will enjoy.

Enjoy a splendid selection of Orkney ales on now until Sunday at the Bandstand Beer Festival, Nairn. On tap we have Cliff Edge IPA, Wave Breaker, Corncrake, Red MacGregor and, of course, Dark Island.
Somethings cannot be rushed and fermentation for Dark Island is one of those things. Even though we hear stocks are selling so fast, we are almost out! Off camera we may also find #menatwork or perhaps reading comics muttering #donotpanic #allundercontrol #andrelax #orkneybrewery

Cliff Edge IPA is now available full time in bottle and as a limited release in cask. We are thinking Cliff Edge should be full time in cask but we will let you be the judge and tell us why? The best answer gets a free case delivered but we need at least 100 responses to ensure we give everybody a chance. So please share.
Just another day at the visitor centre! We were very lucky to host the “Edinburgh University Renaissance Singers” for lunch and they treated us to an impromptu performance 🤗 How incredible do they sound?!? They will be playing in the St Magus cathedral in Kirkwall this Friday at 7.30pm. What a wonderful day!! #orkneybrewery
