*CASTING CALL FOR A YOUNG GAELIC SPEAKING BOY* We are currently casting on a Gaelic Short Film called ‘Buidheagain’ (Translates as ‘ Yolks') which is being produced by Patsi Mackenzie of Sorbier Productions, about young friendshi...p and finding something of value from each other’s completely different worlds.
For this we are seeking a fluent Gaelic speaking boy aged 9- 11 years (strictly not casting outside of this age bracket) for the role of MURDAIDH. He should have a keen interest in and experience of Drama and performance. Applicants must be based in the Scottish Central Belt (between Glasgow and Edinburgh). Applicants must also be very comfortable with animals, particularly chickens.
We are looking for full availability between 30th July - 15th August 2018, although this role will be only required for approximately 3 days of filming.
First of all, we would like to see headshots of suggestions, alongside their Date of Birth, their base and any notable acting experience.
