Orroland Holiday Cottages

Beautiful gardens in a stunning setting.

our group of 9 golfers spent a wonderful week in the middle of June based at the superb Orroland Lodge. It proved a great base from which to play at numerous courses in Dumfries and Galloway. We mainly chose links courses and would strongly recommend visits to Southerness and Powfoot.
We used Caterbirds(an outside caterer) to both cook for us and to provide ready meals for 2 nights. They are excellent and the food freshly cooked .
The lodge comfortably accommodated all of us with a big lounge , large dining room and kitchen situated right on the Solway Firth.
