A more realistic summary of the weather in Durness over the weekend...

User

Durness still great in October

User

Autumn in the Highlands and our vans are in good company around the NC500. Of course the campers are much more comfortable when you want to stop and take it all in.

User

After a heatwave summer, comes a colourful autumn. So why not get OutThere in September and October and see the highlands in the autumn light.

User

Already getting lots of interest for 2019. So if you want a campervan for Belladrum, better get in early. #Belladrum

User

Another great outing for the silver Terrier. Still a little more summer left if you want to get OutThere.

Another fine limerick from our Corbett bagging clients:
Our camper's been a perfect delight Spacious in the day and cosy at night We cooked black pudding in the frying pan ... Then climbed upstairs after a dram Farewell Blue Winnie, it's time for our flight
A Corbett is a Scottish hill between 2500 and 2999 feet high

A fine limerick from current clients summing up their trip: Our camper's called Winnie the Blue She's a Ford converted for two We camped by Loch Morlich And climbed a fine Corbett ... And it's time for two beers with a view

Would highly recommend OutThere campervans. We loved our first campervan holiday to The Isle of Mull. The van itself was comfy, had everything we needed and there was plenty of room for the 4 of us. Great cumstomer service too, thanks again! Already thinking about where we’d go for the next trip.

User

We've just spent a fantastic 5 days driving nc500 in one of the awesome brand new Ford Terrier campervans! So well equipped and a perfect van for driving the nc500! Booking process was easy and Jennifer carefully explained everything before we left on our adventure. We even received a complementary bottle if prosecco as we took the van out on its first journey! I would highly recommend Out There Campervans!

User

We have just returned from a fantastic week in a 6 berth 'Out there' van. It was just me and my husband, but we chose a larger van to have the space. From start to finish the service we received was excellent. All correspondence was quick and efficient, we were picked up and taken back to Innverness airport. The van was clean and was supplied with everything you would need. We hope to explore other parts of Scotland with Outthere campervans in the future.

User

We have just cycled the North Coast 500 using a Big Kick Campervan from Outthere for our accommodation along the way, there was five of us on the trip 3 cycling with 2 supporting us, the campervan proved to be ideal as we would meet up every 25/30 miles so we could get something to eat and refill our water bottles.

The van easily accommodated the five of us every night for sleeping and relaxing after a hard days cycling.

Wullie our driver said the van handled well and have every item we could think of that we needed for the journey.

I would have no hesitation using Outthere Campervans again for another road trip.

User

We had the most amazing time driving the North Coast 500. Our Kickback campervan was absolutely perfect - particularly for novice campervanners. Spacious, comfortable, and kitted out with everything we needed. We couldn't recommend OutThere more!

User

We had an amazing time in our Highland Terrier 2 up in Skye and Applecross, rented from OutThere Campervans. The van was spotless and came equipped with everything from plates to matches, washing up liquid to a bottle of prosecco kindly provided by the lovely owners Jennifer and Neil. Also provided were maps, a book on places to stay and a very comprehensive manual with photos for every aspect of the van. It handled really well on the single track roads and especially on the hairy Bealach na Ba on the way to Applecross. It was also very economical on disel which is a huge plus. Can’t wait for our next trip!

User

We had a fantastic time in the Terrier 2 . From the minute we were met at the airport until the time we returned the van there is nothing we could that we could report negatively. The van was a pleasure to drive especially on the single track roads up north. The equipment within the van was superb and the help and assistance from Jennifer and Neil was excellent. We will definitely return and are sure that some of our friends who we have told about the trip will be travelling north and use Outthere Campervans

User

We had a very 'together' family time in our first Campervan experience. We travelled around Argyll on the Ardnamurchan peninsula, Arisaig, Morar (stayed at the excellent Camusdarroch Campsite) , Mallaig and passenger ferry over to the remote Knoydart peninsula. We live in Scotland, forget the NC500, the scenery on our trip was just as beautiful and less busy. We had the Kickback. All the kitchen facilities you need, heating too. This is a well run business with excellent service and reasonable prices. Thank you Jenny :-)

User

The perfect way to escape to the Outer Hebrides for an adventure. The Ford Terrier was easy and ran really well the whole trip - even those scary coastal roads! The van allowed us total freedom to really explore, and was part of a special trip as we got engaged on the Isle of Barra... for anyone looking for a once in a lifetime and you don't have your own camper - hire one from these guys! Great experience from beginning to end, thank you.

User

Our first visit to the Western Isles, from Barra to the Butt of Lewis. Then back from Ullapool via Applecross. It was reassuring that the little Ford Terrier didn't have any problems on those narrow, steep, hairpin bends - even when we had to squeeze into a tiny passing place when we met a long lorry and trailer carrying generators to the end of the Hushinish peninsula on Harris - will send the picture!

The van was very well equipped and comfortable. Jenny very helpful and prompt with emails before we went and we really appreciated the lifts to and from the airport - thank you!

User

Our first motorhome experience, we hired "The Big Kicks" for four of us and two dog's. A great motorhome, has everything you could need and spotlessly clean. Very friendly and professional service from Jennifer. A great few days on The West Coast, Sands at Gairloch is a great site to stay on 😊

User

Loved our amazing trip around the highlands in our kickback camper! Happy days 😊

User

Just back home after doing The North Coast 500 in a Highland Terrier. From our initial contact to handing back the camper we’ve experienced prompt and excellent service. A great way to do see the sights in a very well equipped van. Would have no hesitation in using Out There Campers again.

User

Just back from a week as support driver for 4 cyclists doing the NC500 in the Highland Terrier!! The guys at OutThere Campervans couldn't be more helpful and accommodating! For a first time Camper holiday this is a perfect van. We had the automatic which was absolutely perfect for the single track and winding roads of the scottish Highlands! Highly recommend this company and their vans!

User

Had a great weekend up in Torridon for the Celtman event and Big Kickers motorhome from Outthere served us brilliantly! Big enough to accommodate family of four comfortably, midgy proof and plenty of space to take our mounds of outdoor kit and bikes. Drives like a smaller van with a bit of “kick” to it! Painless and efficient check in and check out from pleasant and informative staff. Thanks again!

User

First time experience in a motorhome for us and we enjoyed it very much! Booking process went very smoothly and Jennifer was very helpfull with all the questions I had. She also gave us some tips for activities with the kids in Cairngorms National park for the week following our adventure in the motorhome. The motorhome had everything we needed, was nicely cleaned, sheets were already on the beds,... what else can you wish for?

Touring with the motorhome, we were really impresses by the beauty of nature of the Highlands and the Outer Hebrides, especially Skye & Harris. We'll certainly return one day!

User

Fantastic short trip around the west of Scotland. Fairy Pools are well worth the hike. The Big Kicks van came equipped with everything we needed, and we felt quite warm and snug. Driving was a pleasure, as it really handed well. Neil and Jennifer have been very good at explaining how everything works.

Definitely recommend both OutThere Campers and the wild and wonderful Scotland!

User

Excellent experience from start to finish. We rented one of the Highland Terriers for a week to explore the North Cost 500 and loved it. Jenny is great to deal with and very helpful. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone.

User

A wee trip to Edinburgh. Couldn’t fault anything from booking through to return. Would defo recommend and use again.
