Great place - sizzling steak is excellent and great value at £x.xx's, just loved it Chef!! - bar staff very friendly, helpful and super efficient ...but sorry!! lol I forgot to leave a tip but will redeem myself next time I am in 😁😁
The oystercatcher has a very good atmosphere and has amazing variety of food. Staff are very friendly and attentive.
Came in again, thinking it will have changed! Waited ages on a simple wrap ( which I can't compain about)! But no reason to why I waited ages, as there is only one other table of customers.
Defo smelled like oysters. Hairy Clams in-fact. An old lady started talking to me about terrorists in East Kilbride. Wid probs go back.
Food is pre cooked and brought in
I know this as my mate was the chef /heater uper
On the plus staff are nice.
Lovely food, I really did enjoy it! I would highly recommend.
Once again a disappointing night. Party of five and two people had to send food back twice to get it heated and for the correct ingredients to be on the plate. Two people ate a cold meal and the person whose meal was right first time had an hour to wait before it was served. It is such a shame. The staff is amazing but they must get fed up with the complaints. There are never enough of them, neither on the bar nor serving. The duty manager refunded our meal which was something but we really want this place to work as it is our local and it is so disheartening to be let down so often. We have friends who will not go back because it is so hit or miss. I wish the manager could sort things out and provide a consistent good service.
Went for breakfast really good. Went for dinner on Sunday so disappointed. Cow pie was so dry even extra gravy couldn't revive it. Plate went back almost untouched no question asked why. Soz won't be back. 😠😠😠
Everything seemed okay when we first went in but after 20 minutes it started... Being a family with a small child I never expected to sit in a place for lunch and witness a group of guys starting on each other that after a shouting match between them with swearing around other children too, the guys "took this outside" them came the banging on Windows and the group of guys fighting in the car park. Speaking to someone in the place stated " this happens all the time here" so yeah not the family place it's made out to be we had to leave as my other half felt worried about out few months old baby being weird after the whole shouting carry on, my opinion is avoid!
Great food at good value. Good for families.
It's part of the hungry horse chain. Does what it says on the tin. Food and drink prices are very good. Some of the food tends to be a bit dry, specially the chicken skewers, be sure to have a pint handy.
Staff are great, and it's everything you'd expect from one of these chain restaurants (everything is deep fried, dress code jogging bottoms, come in with eyes open) big portions and good value. Let down by the toilets, more akin to a gritty old man's pub, than a new bar restaurant type set up (sticky floors, dread to think, and a truly horrible smell, dirty nappies? Not good)
