Hi everyone. IвҖҷve been trying to speak to all my clients regarding late cancellations of sessions, but just havenвҖҷt had a chance to. I like to do things like this face to face, as over text or emails, they can be misinterpreted. Going forward, if I get a cancellation of less than 24 hours notice, then the session will be lost. If I receive enough notice, it gives me a chance to fill the session with someone wanting/looking for extra training. Hope everyone understands, but... I need to try and look after all my clients, as well as trying fill the sessions.

The Port Glasgow OBU going through their paces at pre season training yesterday. Starting with some mobility exercises and then progressing to stamina work using timed shuttle runs, various sprinting exercises, finishing with a conditioning circuit. Well done lads. Keep up the great work.

Young Kerr getting stuck in to some strength and conditioning work today. Worked on some seated box jumps and mixed it with an all over body conditioning drill. Well done wee man. (Pictures posted with permission from parents)

Great test results back from young Ryan Leslie after his 10 session block. I was asked by his parents (and only to glad to help) if I would train him to get a bit faster and stronger for his football. Every time the wee man turned up to train his attitude was spot on and he worked his socks off. We combined some strength training involving free weights and body weight exercises to help get him a bit stronger and more resilient for during football matches. We also included s...ome speed drills, to help him get an extra yard of pace to get away from defenders. Adding in some plyometric routines, to build that little bit of power. All the while, we enhanced his natural mobility. Another very important factor in football. Well done Ryan. You deserve your holiday now mate. HereвҖҷs his results.....

My client Linda вҖҳenjoyingвҖҷ a wee training session last night. The session involved some boxing routines combined with some rowing, box step bicep curls and lastly some core work. Well done Linda. YouвҖҷre getting there and doing great.

Another session this week for John Paul. He managed to get two sessions in this week. Today was some strength work using compound movements followed by conditioning work incorporating the exercises we done in the main session. TuesdayвҖҷs session involved some boxing work using the heavy bag, airing some frustration due to a вҖҳbad day at the officeвҖҷ. Well done Johnpaul.

Personal 1-2-1 session with David, for only ВЈ20 per session or ВЈ180 for a block of 10 we will go over anything specific you need, in this case David was wanting to increase muscle mass and strengthen his core, to achieve this we used a mixture of uni and bi-lateral exercises at a slow tempo against resistance, with explosive return. Also concentrated on negative reps, he was working against the eccentric contractions of the exercise. Finishing the session with a conditioning drill to keep the body guessing.
