Got some good light fixtures and a mirror on the Boxing Day sale. Good range of lighting to choose from. The shop heads way more than enough staff working on the shop floor but I found they didn’t have that great customer service

Was not impressed at all we needed a ceiling light the one we wanted was not in stock .the manager went online and ordered us one. We were never told if it was not right we could not bring back to the shop....2 days later we received it and had to pay £ 5.99 delevery. the light was thin plastic and cheep. I called shop on how to return it . they told me i could not bring it back to shop i had to return it thru dps. I was told that the manager should have explained this to us. He did not.

Dps was 50 foot from pagazzi at halfords breahead. Someone needs to look at this was not impressed and wont be back.

Despite complete shop refit, it still looks cluttered. I purchased a small table lamp and two bulbs. Got home and unpacked and immediately saw a very poor standard of finish. The metal base of the lamp didn't sit square on the imitation wooden base. The shade itself had loose thread at the join and had to trim them off. The overlap of the material used for the shade was cut unevenly inside the shade then the lamp flickered several times over about fifteen minutes and went off completely. I did't bother to try the second bulb and packed it up and returned to store for a full refund. Staff member was very polite and went about the refund.without any dispute. Sorry I had to give a three star rating but then everything considered and it was manufactured in China.

I thought to be fair, I should back up my point that a previous purchase was completely satisfactory and of a high quality (not made in China) as the attached photographs will show. I am a firm believer in paying the right price for a quality product. John Ruskin (1819 - 1900) once said "It's unwise to pay too much, but it's worse to pay too little. When you pay too much, you lose a little money - that's all. When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything, because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing it was bought to do. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot - it can't be done"
