Not bad food but not fast as you'd expect from a chippy. Very long waits
Great food, fantastic service- Bridget was a delight! The whole family was amazing! Even Grandma from Rome was lovely! Highly Recommend!
For dinner : a great traditional Scottish chippy. Portions aren't stupidly big. Black pudding was a highlight. Great local service.
For sleep : as the pictures show the rooms are clean and comfortable and the proximity to the loch is amazing. A great stopover.
In Balloch for a night ....went to Polombos for a quick dinner... me ..scampie and chips...lovely. Stevie my hubby...fussy eater... loves steak pie.... the best steak pie he's ever had apparently.... has sausage in it too! He's a hard auld guy to impress....brilliant ....great friendly service too! Plus Mrs Ps phone kept going off with If I could dream by Elvis..... Perfect! XXX

Woke up today with probable food poisoning or something from drinking the draft lager- either way we are ill! Overpriced, poor service and grubby, what were we thinking! Must have been the beautiful weather that blinded us! Never again.
After a very enjoyable day at sea life and lomond shores we finished our family day out in palombos x we enjoyed a lovely meal x we were a party of 12 x service was very quick and staff made us very welcome x food was excellent as usual x we have eaten in palombos a few times and never been disappointed x
Palombos is a lovely place great food lovely rooms and the staff are so lovely and helpful would definitely go there again and would recommend it to otjers
