Panmure Rfc

Established in 1880, Panmure Rugby Football Club is one of the oldest clubs in the area with a rich history from joining the Scottish Rugby Union in 1884 and winning the North of Scotland Cup for five years running from 1908. Panmure won National Division 5 Caledonia in season 2005 /06 after an impressive season both home and away with 15 wins and only 3 losses. The team clinched the title in the last game, away from home under the shadow of Ben Nevis. Based at Forthill Sports Club with its bar and function room, and playing in BT Caledonia Midlands 2 'Panny'​ most recently won the Midland Bowl Cup in 2017 /18. Alongside the 1st XV, the club is run by a volunteer committee and active in the local community, not just with the junior 'Panmure Panthers'​ teams but hosting family days, touch tournaments, BBQs and beer festivals. The club welcomes everyone of any age or ability, with playing members from 18 years old to a half century who hail from Scotland, Ireland, England and Wales and are always looking for new players, volunteers, supporters and sponsors.
