Parkhead Nazarene Description
At Parkhead Nazarene we're at the start of a new phase of the church’s life, with lots to learn and do together. We're excited about demonstrating God’s love and compassion in Parkhead, in our homes, our workplaces and wherever else we spend our lives.
We’re convinced that God’s heart is for us all and not against us. As we encounter Him in our daily lives we become increasingly in awe of Him and increasingly passionate about Him.
And we’re passionate about His world and about each other. Being together is important for us – everyone needs to belong somewhere. At Parkhead Nazarene we make every effort to welcome whoever we meet, wherever we meet them. We all benefit and flourish from being in a community where we are loved, accepted and needed.
We’re also concerned about issues that negatively and unfairly affect lives here in Parkhead and around the world. We believe there’s a better way to live as a local community and as a global community. So we look to help each other live in ways that contribute to a better world and a better life for us all.

Upcoming district men's event is happening on the 28th to 30th September at The Bible Centre in Erskine. The cost for the weekend is £75. This includes accommodation and food. The theme is “Your story matters”. If you'd like more information, please speak with David Cochrane.

This Sunday is the ‘Newbie night’ for the YP. The YP is for young people of high school age, meeting every Sunday 6.30-8pm, for games, activities and discussions.

The Nazarene Radio League was commissioned to explore the possibility and the Showers of Blessing radio show was born. Showers of Blessing aired for the first time on June 24, 1945 with General Superintendent H.V. Miller addressing the radio audience with a sermon entitled, “Man’s Friendship with God,” and with the choir of Detroit, Michigan, First Church of the Nazarene providing the music under the direction of Ray Moore. The English version of this radio show ran from 1945-1985, but it was also produced in Spanish, Portuguese, and French. #TBT #Nazarene #History

What an amazing place to have in the heart of our community. With excellent facilities you can find something for everyone to do : worship God , drop in for soup & sandwich, , dance classes , metafit learn computer skills , kids clubs , mothers & toddlers and so much more . You are always made to feel very welcome , and they do so much for our community. I love having the church of Nazrene on my door step .
Well wen u start going'n yer head is all over the place but in a gd way every one r doon tae earth and genuine, and as said the day tae some one special,thing's jst seem tae get better ,so ave a gd nite and a bless day tomorrow and that goes oot tae every one believe'r or no Amen

The Church has become the pillar off parkhead everyone is so loving and caring a feel its one of the safest places to be.
Thanx guy's. X They are the most genuine, friendliest and loving people I've ever come across in my life, what a caring bunch. They have helped me through one of the most difficult times of my life when my partner and church goer sadly took his own life through bad, bad depression. They were always there for me and him helping uz through life and still are. I can't express much they all mean to me. I love them all dearly. Forever Greatful for Parkhead Nazerene! X Godbless.X O:)

I adore the Nazarene Church...since i started that night at recovery church i have felt amazing more amazing as before and i thought that it ss good ss it gets! It gives so much positivity...belief...understanding life and love through Jesus our Lord!! The constant happiness and such a warm feeling with everyone who attends leaves me speechless and that is no easy task!!! I thank the lord every day for showing me the path to the church..the people...the sheer peace happiness ..and an honor 2 be with jesus always through worship...i am grateful every morning knowing the power above looks after me at all times..good and bad.
THANK YOU LORD..My heart mind and soul is with you evertime i breathe..god bless everyone...xxxxx

God has spoken to my heart through every service I have attented in this Church. All who speak here are Amazing. I would like to Add, that we have an Awesome bible study group on a Sunday morning at 9.45 am. Mary Wood Leads the group, who are made up of different people, male and female, from different backgrounds and walks in life.
But what really bring this group together is our Spirit led hunger, thirst, or simple curiosity, to study the holy bible, the Word of God.
An amazing, friendly, and honest church ❤️ proud member !

Ive been so blessed since starting going to parhead nazarene and letting the loard our god into ma life he has given me the strength to overcome face fears & and things i couldn't b4 letting god into ma life
