This is Chloe Purvis she is 9 years old & was diagnosed with Aplastic Anaemia.. an extremely rare blood disorder. I was very lucky to meet this beautiful very upbeat little girl to provide a wig through the Little Princess Trust. ..shes an inspiration indeed...Chloe needed a Bone Marrow transplant & fortunately the blood cancer charity Anthony Nolan searched the worldwide stem cell register for a special stranger who could save ChloeтАЩs life & found a match! Chloe has had the ...transplant & so far it has taken well her mum Sarah told me..ЁЯдЮ but wants to raise awareness of the charity that potentially saved Chloes life...
The Anthony Nolan charity are particularly calling on young men aged 16-30 to consider joining the Anthony Nolan register as young men provide 50% of all stem cell donations but makeup just 18% of our register. All it takes is a form and a cheek swab; without you, there is no cure.тАЩ
Anthony Nolan recruits people aged 16-30 to the stem cell register as research has shown younger people are more likely to be chosen to donate....since Chloe's diagnosis Players at Fort William Football Club, which plays in the Highland League, have signed up to the Anthony Nolan register.

Yesterday our very own Jane McIwaine took part in the 5K Walk for Autism challenge along with her Daughter Amanda & her gorgeous grandson..to raise money & awareness of autism. ....Around 1 in 100 people in Scotland are autistic which can impact on an individual's social communication, interaction, imagination and flexible thinking. It affects their ability to communicate, interact and process information. Subsequently social isolation is faced by autistic people, and their families, every day.
