We have been informed this morning that Viagogo are already selling tickets for the 2019 event at more than double the face value of the ticket with the wording "only 4% of tickets for this event remaining".
Despite our discussions with Trading Standards, The Advertising Standards Authority, our local MP and MSP and our solicitor, it seems nothing can be done about these lying, scammers.
PLEASE only buy from the approved ticket sellers listed on our website. www.partyatthe...palace.co.uk
We know this seems an obvious scam to most people, however some older people buying as a present or those not that familiar with them may get caught out.

What an amazing weekend, first time at Party at the Palace and it won't be my last! Very well organised - no complaints whatsoever. I'd like to thank the person who handed my mobile phone in. I was on the way out and discovered it was missing, went straight to some police officers and they were able to hand it straight back to me - honestly thought there was no hope so thank you to whoever it was, much appreciated.

User

What a weekend. Great bands. So well organised. So much has been achieved in the short time patp been going. Loos were excellent never been to such a clean portoloo in my life big high 5 to the guys cleaning. Music good but dj between bands and a little fun like 2016 was entertaining was missed this year. Other stages had superb entertainment too. Great weekend for families just a shame about the prices of food/drink/soft drink. Thank you have already got my ticket for next year x ps can we get a baked spud van that would be awesome xx

User

What a fantastic weekend once again. There was a great selection of bands on all the stages. Nice to see all the Families able to enjoy themselves in a safe environment. The bar was well manned with no queues good selection of food as well. Plenty of portaloos which were kept clean and stocked (big bonus as portaloos is usually a dread). The scouts did an amazing job keeping everything litter free (We take a bag with us and they even emptied it for us) The staff were great and looked as though they were enjoying themselves (especially one of the first aiders). My only miss for this year was that on the main stage it wasnt constantly kept going with DJs during band change overs and intros. Every year it gets better. Great job done by all. See you next year.

User

Went on Saturday with wife and kids. No queues whatsoever, not to get in, not for the giant slide, not for the urinals, the beer tent, or the hotdog stand. Had a nice sit on our chairs, far from the stage, and went up to the front for certain songs/bands. Thought it was nice how due to the slope of the hill most people could see onto the stage. Good family atmosphere. Better ifs; cheaper food and beer. More ladies toilets, always more ladies toilets. Though it's probably on a par with other festivals.

User

This is the first time I've been to a bar where there are so many bar staff. ... really good... And also good that there were sufficient toilets (and kept clean and filled with loo roll). The place was kept clean by an army of folk going to clear around the partygoers. Little details mean alot.... and folk can often whinge about them ... Well done for that!

I was only there on the Sunday, but I find the choice of the 3rd band from the top a bit weird... I would have thought Bjorn Again would have been better being moved up the list as they got the crowd pumping.

Great event.. great organisation.

User

OMG Texas ruled the weekend. Crowd pleasers. James, don't come back, Sharleen every time. Amy Macdonald last year, Texas this year, absolutely fantastic. Security staff, well done. Everyone is so friendly. Peter, fanf**kingtastic. Made my birthday. Katie, thank you for inviting us. My niece had a blast. We all did. Buzzing xxxx woop woop

User

Had a great time festival was well run staff friendly and helpful beautiful settings and bands we're brilliant. The queue went down quickly getting in to event and leaving wasn't a problem straight out! Glad I had a chair it made the day more relaxing ,enjoyable and had no problem getting out and in and down to the front if I wanted to stand .. there was space both sides of the stage to walk down .. cant wait to go back next year ..well done!

User

Had a fantastic time this weekend. The acts were all amazing, the Noisettes, Bjorn Again & Gok Wan were my faves. Family friendly, my 9 year old had a ball. Loads of bar staff, no queues for a drink. Plenty portaloos & kept clean & well stocked with the essential item. Huge thank you to the Linlithgow Cubs for keeping the place litter free. It's our first time at Party at the Palace & I'll see you next year

User

Had a ball and booked again for next year all ready. Agree with the drink prices a wee bit steep but it's a festival. We had VIP tickets and will definitely do again. Only two points more of an observation.. the DJ in tent on Sunday was way to loud, thought it was a chill area was no need for it to be louder than the main stage.. and people watch your kids, cartwheeling and running about with adults who have had a drink is not the best combo. Acts fantastic couldn't fault, Dodgy, Hipsway and Kaizer Chiefs phenomenal.. Not keen on Razorlight but just a personal thing x see you next year!!

User

First time at PATP and hopefully won't be my last. Well organised. Didn't have to wait long at the bar or for food. Toilets were clean, which is always a bonus. Friendly atmosphere.

Minor complaint is that more signage needed when leaving venue for bus pick ups. Asking security where it was and being told just along the main road didn't help. Ended up wandering down an unlit lane with no idea where you would come to.

Other than that an amazing day. Weather was kind and of course my highlight was Stevie McCrorie and Kaiser Chiefs.

User

Excellant weekend again. Just keeps getting better and the bands on the 'Break Out' stage and in the acoustic tent were fab. Shame they ran a little late as I missed a couple of things due to the overlap of timing. Choice of food was amazing this year. Dehli Winter never fail to impress and the Carribean food was so nice. I would like to see the cost of a bottle of water come down. Don't think it should be the same price as a bottle of coke! All in all though I absolutely loved it. No queing anywhere really and the seating areas well thought out. Thanks PATP. See you next year

User

Amazing weekend highlights had to be Texas ,colonel mustard and the photo booth great selection of food this year can’t wait till next year

User

Amazing wee festival! family friendly, great line up and variety of vendors and activities throughout. Highlight for me was the purple orange acoustic tent, saw some truly talented acts on show and the atmosphere in there was so welcoming and friendly all day. Will defo be back next year.

User

4th year enjoyed them all this year no one should complain I never queued for anything staff and security were friendly everyone I spoke to had a ball spoke to people from all over the country ( and I do talk to loads of people all the kids had a ball as well ).. absaloutely love the event and so proud it's in our wee toon 7000 people having fun and enjoying themselves is amazing . There was no bother at all .the ball pit was brill as well great touch ....the only thing is it would great to have a big screen at the back of lighting and sound tent I know there was one further down but it would be great to have one there ...also a silent disco would be fun....the music from the other stages was amazing ...thanks again has been brill looking forward to next year .😀😀😀😀👍👍👍👍

User

good place to have the concerts.Lots of staff so never queued for more than a couple of mins, plenty toilets. All the staff and secirity were friendly and helpfull. Lots of people just chatted to complete strangers, including myself. Didnt see any trrouble everyone, all ages, were just having fun. Will go again We had a great day.

Only 1 suggestion, a large TV screen so everyone can see the main stage as the one screen was positioned facing the crowd at the very back but our view was limited due to the sound tent. Maybe a screen there would be good?

User

Great weekend again. Brilliant to see so many families there. Great line up. Loads of shows and stalls all overpriced though. Toilets plenty and clean enough. Prices are extortionate - all vans etc charged £3 for ice cream and £2.50 for bottles of juice and water. Alcohol and food also well overpriced! Overall really good but as everyone said prices need reduced!

User

First year and I had a great time. Never queued for anything. Toilets were very clean. My 14 year old and 8 year old had a ball. The guys in charge deserve a massive pat on the back for delivering a top notch event. Will definitely be back next year. Only complaint was the ridiculous rule about no food, especially when you take kids. Food inside was too expensive and cold within minutes of getting it. Spent a fortune on food and still had to feed my kids when we got home. If advertising as a family event you need to look at allowing snacks, sandwiches etc being allowed in.

User

Second time there and not sure I'll be back. Couldn't move for everyone with their garden chairs! It's become a deckchair event and infuriating to try and walk anywhere with people taking up massive amounts of space creating a really tight almost 1 way walking path so ages to get to toilet or bar. Ban the chairs next time!!

User

Let’s start with tickets - what was to stop me printing off my tickets 5 times and handing them out to friends and family? Absolutely nothing. You need to scan tickets on entrance - to ensure you don’t have overcrowding.

Security- sorry guys - confiscating a kids sun shade isn’t on. It wasn’t on your list of banned items - but the jobs worth wasn’t letting us in with it. Went to collect it at the end and guess what - it’s gone.

Chairs - jeez - what can I say. White lines don’t cut it.

Booze - way overpriced - £7 for a £2 bottle of Prosecco. Cmon - that’s taking the proverbial.

Toilets - not enough

Food choices - an improvement

Banning taking your own food - pathetic move

Will I be back - depends on the line up - but you need to improve the lineups on the smaller stages.
