Taking this working from home to a new level!! Built a Wendy house and had to have some plastering on it! So we give you the “handprint” render ❤️

Due to spending all this time at home there will be a few changes when we do come back to plastering.
1. Work day will now be 9hours to accommodate an afternoon nap 2. Lunch puddings are now mandatory (as well as breakfast pudding) 3. High tech van kettle will be getting installed to keep me at my now regular 200 cups of tea per day

Stunner of a bathroom finished this week ready for the plumber, 1000 tiles but when used this way it makes the room feel bigger! All areas tiled have been cement boarded, the very best backer for tiling.

Cold and wet weather today! Some of our fireplaces might warm you up. Most are Dalbeattie granite that had been hidden 😊

Start of creating samples in the workshop, today it has been Marmorino Plaster, this is a combination of Italian marble dust, lime putty and colours. Over the next few days layers of wax will be added, this will give more depth and resistance to water and dirt.

Floor laid this week- old lino up and out, new 600x300 porcelain tiles in!!

House completed this week, we had the pleasure of plastering inside and rendering outside. Render was a one coat render system with a coloured 1.5mm acrylic topcoat.

Work carried out this week, 1200x200 planks fitted out on Dalbeattie High st, we had to self level the floor first then lay the tiles to suit the challenging shape of the rooms. Tiles, adhesive , grout and self levelling supplied by @Solway Tile and DIY Centre

Don’t often get to see our work painted. When we were in to finish off the other bedroom we got a sneak peek! Also thank you to Callum for his yet again amazing modelling skills.

Sorry for the lack of posts lately. Most of our free time has been taken up by trying to get our new workshop up and running!
This will allow us to display our Venetian, cornice, tiling and epoxy resin work.

Loved laying these 900x450 tiles in herringbone pattern. Really sets off the tile. Both the workers and dogs were spoiled on this job!!
