Peace Of Mind (Scotland)

Peace of Mind is a collaborative project between SPAEN and Respite Now - we seek to cultivate communities and develop natural networks to overcome social isolation and exclusion for people with disabilities; long-term health conditions or impairments. The project aims to match: o Persons with Self-Directed Support who are looking to pool and share parts of their individual budget to participate or create group activities; engage in meaningful volunteering or employment in their local area; o Persons seeking employment or additional hours as a Personal Assistant supporting individuals and groups to undertake social and group activities; meaningful volunteering or employment in their local area; o Service providers who can offer social / group activities; o Local and national businesses and companies who can offer meaningful volunteering and / or employment opportunities for people with disabilities (including long-term health conditions);To register your interest; search local groups and available activities, just log on to www. peaceofmind. scot or e-mail us at info@peaceofmind. scot.
