Just like to say thanks to Val and her team this afternoon for looking after the Moorfoot Runners at our annual BBQ event at the Peel Café. The food was first class, plenty of it and enjoyed by everyone.

User

Dog friendly, lovely cakes, great coffee and local beers. Warm and cosy after a winter ride and a lovely decking area to cool down on after a summer ride. Staff very welcoming.

Went to Glentress yesterday after school with my daughter to ride the green run and have tea - Spring is here at last! Checked the cafe's page to ensure it would be open - yes it would be. So we went and had our ride and pitched up at the café -which was closed. Guys in the shop next door told me staff decided to 'knock off early'. DIS-A-PPOINTING.

Visited today. Always like to support local businesses when in their areas. But on this visit we would of been better having our coffee in our motorhome. The young girl who served us had no conversation, latte was like a flat milky coffee !!! For £2.80 each I was disappointed to say the least. Then she just stood glued to her mobile and drinking her coffee.

The tv entertainment was very interesting to watch.

It was only 3.40pm when we visited. So dissapointed for our first visit. Someone in charge needs to train and pick staff with a cheery welcoming attitude or you will loose alot of customers.

Hope my honest feedback helps .

Hope my next visit cycling will be better
