Worth a visit. It really takes you back in time, now actually just a ruin but very insightful. Visit the Manx Museum 1st and get some history and timelines before visiting Peel Castle, so much more worth the visit if you understand the history. Peel Castle right at the harbor mouth. A challenging walk to access all the castle places. Awesome scenery. Make time to stroll through the Peel town.

Fun day out with the family, not sure on the price really. I would advise waiting until the TT season and buying a national heritage badge for £10 to get in all of the sites for free.

Great castle with a rich history. We had free entry with our English heritage membership but even if we didn't the £6 entry fee would be worth it. Quite a big place so allow a bit of time for exploring. Dog friendly which is a bonus

Had a great time here looking around. We should have bought the book though. Being English heritage members got us in for free.

Lovely set of ruins to scramble about. Only information available was a guild book or a audio guild though. Would have been nice if there were information panels.
Very exposed site so not great in poor weather but on a sunny day it is marvellous.

Peel is a suntrap in the summer.
The kiosk on Peel breakwater has the best food, freshly cooked and baps freshly made whilst you wait

Nice relaxing area to stroll around and when you go in you can ask for phone that tells you about the different parts of the castle

Just beautiful well worth a visit, walk the outside for free or pay a fee to get inside well worth it either way . Totally beautiful setting.

This Lovely historic viking castle really is the heart of peel and is very striking! Lots of ground to explore and stories to learn once inside, its mainly outdoors and sensible shoes should be worn, it isn't really suitable for prams or wheelchairs you have stairs for entry and rough terrain inside
