Peffermill Playing Fields Description
The facilities at Peffermill are open to all, from the casual user to the international athlete with users from a variety of sectors including the University community, local clubs, corporate organisations, schools and national governing bodies of sport. This magnificent 27 acre site offers a hugely impressive array of training and competition facilities for everyone to enjoy.
Peffermill comprises:
- Two floodlit water-based artificial pitches (internationally accredited)
- 3G football /rugby pitch (FIFA 1 star and IRB 22 accredited)
- Three five-a-side pitches (3G surface)
- 10 grass pitches for football, rugby and lacrosse
- Two cricket squares (1 grass, 1 grass /synthetic)
- Four cricket batting nets
- A 100 metre synthetic training track
- Changing facilities in three pavilions
- Laurie Liddell Clubhouse providing changing rooms and meeting facilities
- Bar and lounge area
- On-site parking for 160 cars and six coaches.
