Pentland Trail Rides is owned and operated by Ernie Tindall, who has over 15 years mountain biking experience and has cycled all over the world.

Pentland Trail rides was formed in January 2015 and is dedicated to offering bespoke instructor training courses throughout the UK to suit the riders needs and abilities. We also offer a full range of leisure packages, which include ride leader services and equipment hire. We will design the perfect package for your needs. Contact us for further information.

Our Mountain Bike Instructor Award Scheme (MIAS), courses are credited by the Association of British Cycle Coaches (A. B. C. C), the Cyclist Touring Club, (C. T. C) and are recognised by the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority, (AALA), Adventuremark. In addition to MIAS qualifications our students will also be offered the opportunity to obtain Lifetime Achievement Awards at level 2 in Assisting Mountain Bike Activity Leadership and Level 3 Certificate in Mountain bike Activity Leadership.
