We had an unbelievable turn out at our Annual RS Summer Show on Friday night #PeoplesRS

We recently bought our new family car from Peoples Ford in Edinburgh. From start to finish we found the service we received to be top class. Declan Leckie was friendly and professional, never pushy, and instilled a sense of trust. He also entertained our two year old so we could look over the car and paperwork. Would highly recommend visiting Peoples Ford and we hope to deal with Declan again when we are looking to change our car (which I’ve been told will be a few years!)

This company must be making loads of money,as I have emailed them about one of there cars in Edinburgh and had no response so I tried a chat online they took my phone number and said they would ring back when one of there sales reps was free, still waiting. They have the car that I want I have the money in my bank account that they want shouldn’t be this difficult.

Very impressed with the customer care I received from both the sales team and body shop team. As I couldn't drop my car off during the body shop's opening hours I arranged to drop it off with the sales team and collect a courtesy car from them. Unfortunately, due to a misunderstanding the body shop had not left the courtesy car with the sales team but the gentlemen I spoke to were absolutely brilliant and quickly (but not easily) located the courtesy car and keys for me meaning I hadn't had a wasted journey from Edinburgh!

The body shop team, Johnny and Sheena and those behind the scenes, were superb. The paintwork on two doors on my car was peeling off and they have done a brilliant job repairing it. They went above and beyond, repairing a few chips and scratches my car had picked up through daily driving without any additional charge. Delighted with the results, a great experience.

I also use the Edinburgh branch for services and MOTs and have always been happy with the service I have received!

My experience with peoples Ford has been brilliant in my opinion. My car went in for repair and I can honestly tell you my car was well looked after. I got it back in really good condition and the customer service from the staff at the garage was fantastic very friendly people and helpful. I am made up with my new fiesta, i love it. I have always got my cars from Peoples Speke and the car salesman Andrew Bennett is very approachable and easy to talk and to ask questions to. This is the reason i travel from West Yorkshire back to Peoples. Both my husband and I get our cars from there!!

I recently purchased my car from Edinburgh branch. I am very pleased with the level of service right from the test drive till the I got my keys. George was dealing with this all through, he was excellent in providing me the information I need..not more not less and more importantly not pushy !



However, couple of things I noticed which needs improvement are the quality of the polish performed using Dimond brite and the valet. I know I mighed have rushed for delivery but the what ever job was done was not top quality. These are some little things which I have to pick on :)



Over all I am pleased with the purchase and the service I received and will defiantly recommend to family and friends.

However a few points I would like to emphasise, upon the initial pcp agreement with people's I was told by my sales assistant steven that servicing would be free for my vehicle for a two year period through my employer under an "advantage scheme" I even provided employer documents at the time as backup of employment with my company, however upon the first service on Saturday 19th of may I was fairly surprised to find that the information provided to me by my sales assistant was inaccurate and my vehicle was not in fact covered for free servicing as it is a zetec. The free servicing was a huge plus point when deciding upon my car and indeed using people's ford, if this information had been provided to me before the agreement I may have been inclined to go elsewhere.



In addition following the service on Saturday my vehicle was unclean, again a surprise since I was told upon booking the service that it would include a full cleaning service within the service.

Went in over Easter weekend to look at a Ford Edge. The model on show in the showroom frustratingly couldn't function at any level. I enquired of a salesman (busy watching videos on his phone) and he said "The battery is flat!" I questioned the sense in having a bunch of cars on show with dead batteries and how could they sensibly sell anything ? He shrugged his shoulders and said it was "Engineering's problem" not his. However, he then showed me a car outside that he deemed to open remotely from the other side of the showroom.

I inspected the car and went into the back to check for legroom etc only to discover child locks were applied to the door. I ended up honking the horn several times whilst all the sales reps did hee haw. So I just crawled over the seats etc into the front to let myself out. Not very dignifying !

When I told the sales rep about my experience he just shrugged his shoulders again.

How in earth do you expect to sell anything or engineer a car if this is the standard of customer service you are applying to your business?

Was sold a Focus 17 months ago to find out recently that it had a recall on it and had been since prior to me buying the car. The only reason I found out was because the engine blew and when I took it to another Ford dealership they told me and arranged for it to be fixed free of charge. While that dealership have been helpful this one not so much as when I called them initially I was told well its none of our business you need to contact Ford CRC. After sales is absolutely shocking! To the point that the Focus will be the last car I purchase from people and I will happily advise anyone else to steer clear of them due to the service received afterwards.

Very poor service! Avoid!



I took my car for a service last week as the computer said it had a engine malfunction and the engine kept cutting off and on, so I let the dealership do their thing and bought new parts and ended up paying close to £650, but didn't mind that as I was driving down to the Lake District on the weekend. When I went to pick up my car, there were scratches on my driver and passenger door. Told they guy straight away, and he took pictures but said he couldn't do anything as the maanger was away but he said that they will call me. When I was down in the lake district my car displayed the same error message as I had before and the engine kept cutting off and then back on again and kept doing that. Tried that a few times and luckily it was fine. Called dealership whilist I was down and the lady didnt seem apologetic at all, and just booked me in. Half of my holiday I was worried if I could drive the car back up, luckily I did! Took the car in this morning and explained to the branch manager what had happened (again no apologies) and he said he will look at the CCTV to see if my car had scratches before driving in as they can zoom in, and I said to them, good! At the end of the day came to collect my car, and they couldnt see anything wrong with my car, and just restarted the computer and the manager didnt even bother to check the CCTV and said the engineers noted before the inspection that it already had scratches and to be fair to them, it did, but not the two massive scratches they were left on their care. This is very poor, I will not be using this dealership ever again, and has probably made me never use Ford again! Can you give me the email for a formal complaint.

The customer service I've received from Fords has been appalling. Never in my life have I experienced such poor service and bad attitude from different departments in Fords from the dealership, customer relations, senior management in Fords head office, finance company and other members who I could name individually.

I have a 2014 Ford Focus ecoboost which the engine has blown on due to the common manufacturing fault. My car as yet has not had a recall but the problem is the issue of the recall that's resulted in my engine blowing up. I've been offered 75% repairs to be paid and for me to top this up. I have been told I should be 'grateful' as Fords aren't obliged to speak to me never mind do anything as the car is out of warranty. I've been told they want the courtesy car back that they are charging me £12 per day for and £10 storage fees per day due to not having the money to pay the 25% costs but been ADVISED if I take the car out off the forecourt to prevent storage fees that they will revoke the 75% offer. BLACKMAIL is what this is. Promised one day they'll help then the next they won't then the day after they will. Now they're blaming service history as the cause when my car has full service history with Fords parts but done in a private garage. Disgraceful service from a company that's supposed to pride themselves on how they treat their customers.

I have had Ford cars nearly the whole time I've been driving and have had all my finance through Fords. Never once missed a payment or been late with a payment and no customer loyalty with them at all. Never in my life will I ever have another Ford car. I will not line the pockets of people who treat you the way they have with me!

Put my car in for a major service mot and gearbox service the other day even tho my car has only done 21000 miles. Get the car back mot and service all done. But where the engineering put my gearbox oil back in he had spilt some on the after cooler so today wiped away the spillage. And was looking under the car to make sure there wasn’t anything else there to wipe. When I seen all

The bolts on the gearbox was still rusty and not been taken out in the last few days meaning the gearbox’s new filter and seal have most likely not been changed even tho I had paid 527.50 for the

Major service mot and gearbox service. Am thinking of taken it to an independent company to have this checked out.

Disgraceful service from a company that's supposed to pride themselves on how they treat their customers.

I have had Ford cars nearly the whole time I've been driving and have had all my finance through Fords. Never once missed a payment or been late with a payment and no customer loyalty with them at all. Never in my life will I ever have another Ford car. I will not line the pockets of people who treat you the way they have with me!

Put my car in for a major service mot and gearbox service the other day even tho my car has only done 21000 miles. Get the car back mot and service all done. But where the engineering put my gearbox oil back in he had spilt some on the after cooler so today wiped away the spillage. The bolts on the gearbox was still rusty and not been taken out in the last few days meaning the gearbox’s new filter and seal have most likely not been changed even tho I had paid 527.50 for the

Major service mot and gearbox service. Am thinking of taken it to an independent company to have this checked out.

I wouldn’t even rate people’s ford a 1 for their service. The service we have received from this garage from day one of our car being with them has been diabolical. We are even at the point of getting legal advice as it has been that bad.
