We are super excited at the upcoming launch of Pepe's Piri Piri in Glasgow Southside and are currently building a fantastic team. We are also hiring for our existing store in Woodlands Road too. This is now my go to place when I'm after quick, simple and delicious food. No more Nandos as it's way over priced now. My daughter and I had a fantastic meal with drinks for under £18 👌👍

The tastiest and freshest grilled chicken in the whole of Glasgow, and yes also better than Nandos, without question. People complain about the wait, but what they don't understand is the food is cooked fresh and it is busy. Those are good signs for a takeaway.

So much better than Nandos, fresher chicken & cheaper. Meal for 2 for £14.99 & food left over. Lovely staff, nice young guy let me off with 4p tonight. Haha pretty embarrassing �.

I stopped going to Nandos because of this place! Pepes is outstanding! Food is perfect and is served quickly..you never have to wait too long. The chicken wings are worth going for alone...

I bought a BBQ chicken sandwich meal which fantastic very tasty as I'm a taxi driver I'm always looking for good food at good value.

Had a smashing ole time in this establishment. Really good sized chicken burgers, that were tasty and fresh. Meal was a fair price with good quality fries and the tender chicken strips were just the cherry on the cake, really added something that not all fried chicken shops offer. Guy had grand patter, and all in all was just a very pleasant experience. Great cure for when your no in the best of nick and need a wee pick me up. The loyalty card is of course a great added incentive and I cannae wait to be gettin ma free refreshment, free hydration is something ya just cant say no to. Rivals ma local "Chicken "Club", which is something I never thought I'd say. Cheers guys, and expect to see me again.

First time today at Pepe's with family and I was not disappointed at all! I ordered the special - Indian Chaat wrap with Piri Piri wedges. It was cooked well and tasted delicious! The portion sizes were good and it filled me up. Friendly staff, clean and amazing decor. By far the best grilled chicken in Glasgow better than Nandos!

Great food, especially if you want a more healthy option than regular fast food junk. The grilled piri piri chicken is excellent, love the pitta sandwich, especially with an additional fillet of chicken!



Best to phone in advance though, it can take up to 20 minutes for the food to be prepared.

Have been a few times and food was exceptional but went last night and was severely disappointed !!! Chips were frozen and the chicken on the wraps where cold too .... be a while before I'm back again

Good food although the place was filthy, dirty tables and food and rubbish all over the floor. This could have been due to lack of staff

Today went back average chicken , took 45 minutes served 10 customer who came after me not even apologised or told the reason of delay.

Impolite staff, nothing was good actually.

rang in for a collection they got the order completely wrong gave me someone elses, drove back in, then after an hours wait ! they still couldn't get it right, by the time i got home the chicken was cold and tasted like rubber, stay clear of this place folks, total of 2 and half hours wasted, no one seemed to care

Love the food but wont be back after tonight. Called, made an order for collection, 25 min wait but thats fine. Called back because they didnt take my name or give me an order number. Double checked the order, turns out it was wrong. Told him i wanted a mini chicken fillet meal, he said " ok so u want and XL chicken burger" i said oh my goodness no i want .... couldnt finish as he hung up on me. Absolute crap customer service, the place looks manky, and left fuming at being hung up on, just because he couldnt get my order right! Come here every week, absolutely disgusted at the treatment we have just received! Id understand if i swore, or shouted, but i didnt. Go elsewhere...i certainly will be!

I lived in London and visited pepes in slough, greenford and southall regularly, enjoying my meals without complaint. Having moved to Glasgow, i have visited the pepes store on a number of occasions for take away meals, but unfortunately the service offered here can only be described as diabolical. On several occasions i have phoned in orders, which after being repeated back to me, have items either not ordered or not prepared for me. I have today received my 5th order which when arriving home, have found items missing or given incorrectly. Each time i phone to complain, i am offered a free item from the manager on my next visit, but when trying to redeem i am told there is no record of my free offer. After another failed visit today, the manager has promised me a free meal, 7 peri pittas and a bag of wings on my next visit. Time will tell if they fulfil there promise this time.... pepes glasgow is only doing the brand a disservice.

I am so tired of this nuisance fast food outlet. They more or less operate a drive in service which basically prompts almost all of their customers to drop their rubbish on the street everywhere. clean up your act Pepe.

Horrible and disgusting place, sat next to the toilets which smelt like no one has cleaned them in months, table / seats filthy, staff rude, and to top it all up cold and stinking chicken, refused a refund and did not want another, first and last time

My partner also noticed a lad on the grill picking his nose! just as we were leaving, thank god we did not consume any food

HUGE HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT....worst service possible. Slow staff who do not care that customers are waiting even though food is in front of them. Waiting time given on phone for collection was 10 mins..however took an hour waiting for it. Food isnt that spectacular that i would go back again for it.. huge huge disappointment!
